RED ALERT.......all hands on deck....intruder alert..
Well...well...it's ADT time in Tennessee. It took a while for them to figure out the entire security system for the property. The city has now approved us taking back the street so we can place an iron gate up by the road, along with wrought iron fencing and a 911 call box. The closest property line is 184 feet from the house up to 1146 feet......and a sidewalk will flow around the property. So it was decided this would be the second line of defense....so to speak. Anything the would be about 60 pounds will set it off.....so if a 59 pound midget gets in.....well then it's the third line....ROTFL.
The third line is the coolest, because if anything steps on the bridge, porch or roof system it would trigger an alert. Then you have the breaking of glass or prying open a window or door would set this zone off. If you are from Mission Imposible.....then you have the motion sensors to deal with......well unless you are smaller then a golden....because he don't want the system to go off just because one of the kids went down stairs to drink out of the toilet........DO WE?????
Other features are video from 11 cameras, any water line breaks, dish washer or washing machine overflows, smoke in the chimney or smoke anywhere for that matter, the room temperature in each room and intercoms.......
You can't believe how much wire two guys can run in a day......but they can....we got wire all over the place......the metal plates do two things....one keep the wire in place and also guard against driving nails into the wire.......the dark lines are studs or plastic strips in the ECO block wall.
All that wire ends up somewhere....i guess....they call the wire that goes to the box
"the run" and they ran alot of runs......Each floor has two panels on it.......
There is a thousand feet of 12/2 wire per roll......and even in Alabama that adds up to about 6,000 feet of wire for just the second level and they are still working on it.........
First there was the Water Boy....then Larry the Cable Guy....now there is Jesse the Tape Foil guy. He tears off 8 inch pieces and places them all over his body..climbs up the ladder and tapes the joist together......
One day a couple of crews showed up to bang this job out.......during the lunch break they were having fun relaxing and enjoying the view......
They continue to run pipe.....but today it was decided to install this thingie to take every little mirco bug out of the air.....so they will be adding a couple more runs of pipe.........dang it....
