East side....West side.....all around the house

The west side of the house is almost finished having the shakes applied.......

Then it was on the front side, these guys are paid by the square....and they don't play around.

Cooper flashing was placed around the roof lines and also around any windows.

If ya look real closely in each corner you can see the security cameras....a total of 11 camera have been installed around the property......and can be viewed from anywhere in the world over the net....I love technology......

While the guys are working on the outside the woodcraver is busy working on the bar in the second level. A total of 10 cedar trees were installed in the second floor back in August and these were the end cut he had the sawmill cut in half last month.

Each piece is hand cut to fit perfectly tight against another piece...so it look like one big log when it's finished......

Each piece is then mounted onto a piece of birch cabinet grade plywood...to form the front of the bar.....we are looking for a recycled redwood slab for the bar top....

The scraps are never just thrown away, they use them to heat the shop.......OK their work area............it always smells great when we visit...

From the roots of the tree came these branch looking thingies........which will end up as an Eagle nest on top of the big tree in the stairway....
