A couple of weeks ago I posted about the Major Donor Reception that the Make-a-Wish foundation was having at Disneyland in CA. Of course, I never heard a peep out of the Land of Wood about this reception.....but hey I don't pay attention all the time...I do miss somethings.
Today the UPS driver came and dropped off a box from Make-a-Wish and it had a wand that was given out at the reception along with a book of donors.
So being interesting in who is who in the book, I started looking...and yes...there was my name, 15 down from the top as an "Annual Individual Giving of the Chris Greicuis Society of Joy of $10,000.00 and more. So I continued to look thru the book to see who else was there.
By the time I got to the "Z's" I realized that TonyUK wasn't listed or Susan Drummond wasn't listed, or Kenneth Wood or even the Woodies CCI Club, Inc. None zip, zero....nothing....how could this be??????????
This is what the Make-a-Wish folks sent me since I was unable to attend this years reception....and I remembered this song......do you Woodie?

What a great gift that Make-a-Wish sent me....it will certainly go next to the hand print and a note of thank you that a little girl sent me last year. These are things that make you think of what it's all about.....giving to those in need and expecting nothing in return, but ending up getting far more back then you ever gave.

People ask me all the time while I continue to pound on Woodie and his secret little club. Why, well it was Woodie that raised the standard.....the first TAL in Orlando in 2003 and "Tony" send the left over funds to MAW in his name. Then Woodie started pounding the room with this idea of just "Traders helping Traders" and the "Lighting someone elses candle doesn't take away from yours", great slogans for sure. In this blog, over the past year I have pointed out, to some true believers, that things aren't what they appear....to say the least and have put up with some real crap and hate emails....but that's OK.
It's been almost 2 years now, and Woodie continues to say how much has been raised for the kids. Helping the kids, on his website, in the emails, we raised over 60K, 80K, 100K, 110K, and people buy into the program like a moth to the light, but where is the proof!!!!!
DrBob stated that he gave Woodie a check for 5K and yet where is that donation? In Chicago, the cash at the door TAL, where is that donation. Where is a record of any donation, even if only a thousand dollars was left over from each TAL.... by now it would be in the booklet of donors....but there isn't ONE word....not one.
What kind of a person uses a charity for kids with serious health issues to promote himself and pretend to be doing great things?? What kind of a man indeed??? What is there to gain, by having statements posted on the website "And don't forget, the net proceeds of your registration fee are donated to Peregrine Charities and the Make-a-Wish Foundation"??? What is there to gain in pretending to be a personal close friend of the President of MAW......there isn't anything to gain...nothing...in fact, you have lost a lot of people that once believed in the idea of actually helping others thru your venue. This is one reason other chat rooms have sprung up all over the place.
Some might think that we were banned from the Woodies CCI Club back in August of 2004, my trading buddies and myself, but in fact we had had enough of the smoke and mirrors that was going on...and left. The smoke and mirrors are still there and I guess this fraud will continue until some day when we are all held accountable..... Even for the Duke of Wood.

Woodie prefers to have his wife set up trips to Europe, Australia, etc. His backyard spa is more important than MAW kids. That money designated to MAW comes in handy for all kinds of things like new dual processor laptops, etc, etc, etc. The woodster's shamelessnes is only exceeded by his ego.
BTW, I'm #4 on the list of $10k contributors. Check for yourself.
I was also on the annual GTW high contributors list (Give To Woodie). All the lucky people on this secondary list were given very special commemorative rubberbands to wear on our wrists. They were embossed by Hoot with the words: "Cash is King."
I believed all this time, but what is there to believe in now.
Dennis, there still exists the possiblity that Woodie donated the money anonymously and that he doesn't want to take notoriety for a charity cause. I know, it doesn't fit his personality profile, but stranger things have happened in this world.
I think the whole thing has been played out at this point. Woodie is what he is and he'll never change. I dare say none of us can run from ourselves for very long.
It's just a fact of life that, no matter how much you try to warn others about something but who haven't shared your experiences, people are going to repeat the same mistakes. When something is true, people eventually find out for themselves and then finally understand what you were trying to say in the first place.
Let's put it another way, Woodie is far less harmful to your pocket and soul than the dubious practices of Mr. S Matrix. Dennis, it's in your nature to doggedly pursue something when you feel you've been deceived. That's not a bad thing. But it isn't too healthy for you after a certain point. Just let it go. You've done more good with a simple 3 min bar trade setup than all of the hype surrounding a bounce or reversal play off of a 14 moving average.
Traders young and old: there's nothing that special about a 14 period moving average. It's just one old guy's concept of a decent scalping timeframe. But the 34 ema is a whole nuther can of worms. You all have gb007 to thank for that. He's the the real "hero" for newbies in all of this trading info when it's all said and done. Add to that Dennis pounding the point home about watching price action and market internals and then you have a good recipe for a market edge.
If you really want to hit Woodie where he lives, start mailing some of these posts to his sponsors (even if it's done through anonymous hotmail accounts)- PFG, Esignal, and any other names on his (Tony's) website. When Dennis finally makes some headway into any investigations as to where the MAW funds actually ended up, these sponsors will drop Woodie faster than the text-b-gone button can be pushed.
Most of the people in woodie's room are unaware of this blog and a couple others that allow these kinds of posts. Those new people need to know that there is life beyond woodie's room. Many have no clue where JeanYus and Gio are these days and Woodie sure as hell isn't volunteering that kind of info.

I have been in Woodies room for over 2 years and after this posting and reflecting on what has been said. I have decide that my presents are no longer needed.
Gio pulled this before, she was a contributing member of Underground Trader, when she and some guy named Don something tried to hijack the room. They set up a room called Method Trader and were charging $300 a month. The way she drones on and on of course the room did not last long. I've wondered about Woodie's methods as it appears even the mods are not profitable, however I have been able to put together some of what he taught with some other stuff I picked up to to be able to trade profitably. It would be a bummer, though to learn he wasn't on the level with the charity thing.

The accusation about Woodie and MAW in this BLOG (and the others I've read) lacks fact. So, I contacted MAW National org and spoke w/the Vice President and General Legal Council for MAW National. After a bit of checking around, he informed me that they DO have Woodie (and people donating in his name, and the club's name)down as a donor for MAW. Furthermore, he explained to me how MAW is a complex mixture of entities, each w/separate donor databases, that are not integrated. There is (1) National MAW, (2) 72 franchise MAW chapters in the US, and (3) 27 International MAW orgs. Each carries its own database of donors. If you want to know if Woodie or the club donated to any of these, you must check w/them each directly. For now, w/a little effort to get the facts, I, for one, am satisfied that at least some of Woodies donations (and donations in the name of WoodiesCCIclub) have been legit. If the critics have anything more substantive than speculation, unuendo, and hearsay, please post it. For now, though, the facts say the MAW contributions have been legitimately and correctly done.

If that was the case, then why were any of their names or the club itself not in the booklet? I think that speaks volumes.
Just because you say so, doesn't mean it's a fact. Hilter and his secret little club of insiders did that same thing. Just keep saying it's so and sooner or later they will begin to believe it. You wrote that:

Alot of people did send in donations in the name of Ken Wood or the Woodies CCI Club, that I believe. But where are the donations from the actual Woodies CCI Club, WHERE???????
