Anyone looking for a front door????

One day these two huge wooden boxes showed up and inside where the hand crafted custom mahogany wooden doors from LA that took 9 months to have constructed. After we inspected them to make sure that there wasn't any damage, the next problem was moving them into the house.....

The company sent along their own installer in set the door. The door was perfect so it's settin door time in TENNEssee.....

Adjusting the framing blocking, packing in insulation, nailing on some arch pieces and we were ready for the grand event.

Of course, the installer was a joker to say the least so he was standing there going......"Wonder each side panel goes on which side?" These side panels have smaller etched glass panels being held together by lead.

Once all four panels are in place it was time to set the door itself, it took the installer a total of 7 hours to set the frame and panels....the frame itself was screwed from behind along with a special clue to hold the door in place.

Then came the door itself....what a thing of beauty it is. Hand made and hand rubbed with a light cherry factory finish. The door weighed in at 170 pounds. I made it VERY VERY clear the any marks on "this door" and the cost to repair it would come out of their paychecks........PLAIN AND SIMPLE.......
