5 truckloads of insulation later

We are finally gettin to the end of the insulation......a total of 14 pallets of this pretty pink itchy stuff....they pack them in bails and each pallets has three bails, inside the bails there are 8 packs.

This has been going on for a couple weeks now as they cut each piece one at a time so there isn't any gaps or openings.

Two guys are cutting and handing them up and two guys are calling out numbers and measurements amoung other things......and I have bought enough 3/8' staples for the slap gun to reach 1.37 miles.......dang!!

The ceiling in the great room is about 32 feet up and of course he is standing on the top step.....and still a little short, anyone seen the scaffolding???

The paper is pulled off any odd and end pieces and shoved into the window jams. One of my jobs is after each day is to go around and take a look to make sure things are done correctly. This way we find problems, before they are covered up or toooooo far gone to go back and fix. The #442 RH in the doorway stands for Door Number 442 and it's a right handed door. Hoping to cut down on any mistakes there also since the interior doors are all being made special order from a factory north of Denver.

The great room window system has it's own special problem because the framework was made from I-beams welded together. We pumped spray insulation in before the window went in, now we are going back my using sheets of form to fill out any area that need it.

The master bedroom is the last area to be insulated. All we need now is to finish the ceiling with R-30.

Ya got to love a 2 year old, as Drake wants to help clean up the joint. Every weekend we go around cleaning and moving material for the next week.....a clean workspace is a happy workspace.....:)

The fish tank is in place and the bar area is coming together nicely....more on that later......right now it's clean...clean .....clean....and pick that up, OK
