So it's summertime, and we voted to go back to Mallorca again this year. This was without saying anything to anyone in advance. Doubling up on security guards which were on duty 24/7 and bring in off duty police officers to stay at our house......
The weather was perfect, the people are just so nice in Mallorca and the place is beautiful....
Plama is the hot spot on the island and you can get about anywhere in 40 minutes including a trip over the mountains.
Soller is on the other side, a port city on the north side of the island. Last year we rode a 100 year old train up there, but this year I drove up to find the shop that had hand painted wine cellar wall tile. The company wanted to have an artist commissioned to paint 3 sets of tile for the wine room....cost about 4,000 each......I bought 3 sets for 106 Euro each in Soller in a little out of the way shop.
Neverless to say, the highlight of each day, no matter where I am is, Breakfast, lunch and dinner.,.....ROTFL!!!! This is a roof top rib joint.
No this isn't for everyone to share, it's just my daughters' dinner. Can someone help her out??????
Spain is an interesting place, more on that tomorrow. In the past 48 hours, I think I might have gotten 3 hours sleep on the flight back.....
