Some people see things as they are and ask why.....

Robert Kennedy used to say quite often during a speech, "Some people see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not?" It is a quote from George Bernard Shaw of course...but it in some ways is how I live......
When I look at things....no mater if it's charts or just a tree, they speak to me and I try my best to bring out whatever they are saying. Now some might think, I am nuts for even saying this....but I have never been accused of not dreaming BIG.

I was looking for a mantle for the great room, I had already had a Rocky Top mantle done and the Jack Daniels mantle and even one for the new office.....but I needed something that would make your head spin......as I drove down the road I looked over and saw "THE TREE", so I bought it had it moved to the woodcravers and marked it for them to cut it. The woodcraver bought in a saw mill to handle the piece since is was 42 inches around before being cut.....and squared up on 2 sides.

After they cut it down to size and moved it in under the canopy to sand it down and work on it.......

She is ready to be moved up to the hill....you'll have to wait and see what she looks like in place.....it will be interesting........it has the CCI in it.......ROTFL.

The last load of windows finally arrived and were carried up to the fourth floor.

In todays world, instructions are written in both English and Spanish and the amigos read everyone of the flyers and instructions sheet......always learning.

In addition to having the final load of windows come....the stairway for the second to third floor also are on location......in two trailers.

You can see the bolts holes on the second piece.......so we will be able to run up and down the stairs.........so......and the roofers are still working on the roofer.....

The first problem is building a hoist system to lift each half into place, they spent the rest of the day working on that........who knows what the roofers were doing......
