Back on the front porch

Work continues on the front porch, as the beams are being cut and set......

Every dang piece is moved in place, marked, removed and lower down to be cut, moved back in place, checked, removed and lower down to be trimmed again.......just glad we bought a cherry picker a while back....

Because of the way the columns were set, we have had to "adjust" the width of each piece to make up for 5 inches.....

Just glad we haven't set this last window, as everything seems to be going in and out of it.......oh yea, the plumber is giving his advice on how to set the rafters tails....

So let's see, a 10/12 pitch going into a 22.5 degree octagon is the square root of a 2x4.........ROTFL......and then we have to cut a notch to allow the rafter tail to set correctly on the support beam...

So we are down to last set of tails.....come on lunch is going guys...

Ok, here comes the last one........I can smell the rice and beans already.....

The amigos had stained the face side of the tongue and groove, so it's nailer down and keep it straight and level....

Oh cow man, it looks like a front porch, now the question will be....Just how many refrigs can ya'll fit on it......ROTFL
