The First Trade-a-Long was in Chicago......part 2

Now you have to remember a few things about the club at the time, the idea was Traders helping Traders as the slogan goes and these events ever to help them on a more one to one basis. The cost of the TAL was to just cover expenses and the balance to go to MAW and this was a big deal back then, remember, maybe you weren't in the room at the time?

So now that we have an idea of the amount of money that was taken at the door, let's walk thru the expenses and see where we end up. Well, first who came to Chicago to "help" out so to speak.....Woodie, Hoot and myself. So what expenses were there.
1. Airplane from AZ flying America West $250.00
2. Airplane from NJ flying somebody $250.00
3. Rental Car ?
4. Hotel for 3 nights ?
5. Food ?
6. Conference room at the "W" ?
7. Internet for conference room ?
8. Snacks and drinks for attendees ?
9. Overhead projector ?
Expenses.......$500.00?????

Well you see, "they" were picked up at the airport and hauled around by attendees...so no taxi or rental car. "They" stayed at Famir's house, which is where this picture was taken...so no hotel. Cheryl fixed breakfast and dinner was paid by the attendees.....you know, divide the total of the number of people into the bill....everyone I need 30 bucks, so no food expenses. This picture is of us all at dinner.

Now who do you think paid for the conference room, internet, snacks and drinks for the attendees and provided an overhead projector? Who, I wonder who, do you want to answer this one there anonymous?

So if you take $500.00 from about $19,000.00 and end up with a nice $18.500.00 for three days in Chicago. Now the confernce room and internet would have cost about $2,650.00 for two days but that still leaves about $15,000.00 in someone pocket, and in cash. Assuming that someone else paid for the room internet, and snack...want to take that one Anonymous?????

So I waited and I waited and I waited because I believed...I trusted...and I hoped that you would come thru somehow and I waited but nothing came out about a donation to MAW, ZIP. It was all about the next one and how great this one was and how we have another great idea of how to use the CCI that we will show just the attendees of this one...on and on.....but nothing about MAW. Also, you might remember that I had given about $23,000.00 my self by this time to MAW, and each time we gave a donation it was made available in the room.

So that began a turning point for me, sad to say, and can only hope and pray that at the end of the first quarter of 2004 when "someone" filed their quarterly estimated income tax return that they included all that cash...I can only hope and pray. Also I hope and pray that they filed a State of Illinois income tax return for coming into the state and doing business and making a profit, since at the time "they" had not formed a corportation yet.

See if "they" had donated the profits to MAW, like "they" advertised before the TAL then there would be no profits and therefore no tax, but if that cash somehow lost it way...and I might not be the brightest light blub in the box BUT.......

So maybe that would explain why we never were shown any receipts or a check to MAW, or some kind of a balance sheet or whatever you want to call it. Can you show us a check to MAW for this TAL....or any of them......since it was "your" idea in the first place to "donation any money left over". If you had said in advance, well, I am going to do these TAL, but I need to cover expenses and nothing about making a donation...who the hell cares.....but that is not what happened......

Because "you" promised, "you" said that the "money left over was to go and help the kids" at MAW and this was to just help traders that needed more guildance... PERIOD. And if the "money that was left over" were not sent to MAW then what do you call that!

That is a picture during dinner, and yes I was right next to him talking about stuff, so don't pretend that I don't know or don't have the documents to back anything up....it's time to disclose the truth before it's too late.

dennis donated his $30K and always says he has the paperwork available to anyone who wants to see it. jeanyus donated his $3K and always says he has the paperwork proof available on request, and he says he fully understands why people would be skeptical absent such proof.

why is there no available proof of the club's donations? does a "woodie doesn't have to prove anything to anybody" blanket excuse really hold water when a huge part of the club and woodie's good guy persona is through their alleged giving "to the kids?"

i don't blame dennis for being so bitter and suspicious against woodie after personally donated so much of his own money "to the cause." dennis feels like a first class sucker. if jeanyus stopped for a second and started demanding some accountability from the club and received the same silence, he'd realize how much of a sucker he's been too.

Neither Dennis nor Jeanyus are suckers for donating what they have to Make-a-Wish. It just makes them good people. They chose to donate of their own accord, so well done to them.

In my view calling them suckers is looking at it the wrong way.

Even if woodies cci operates as a sham it doesn't take away from the fact that anyone donating to MAW has done somthing good.
