Finally the last load of timber frame showed up, this time for the front porch, custom cut parts everywhere......
Rafters plates and support beams all cut to the correct size and notched where needed now if the porch is perfectly level and square......perfectly being the key word this should go smoothly.....RIGHT????
I wanted the entrance to project power and strength so all the beams are oversized and over weight......so it tooks a crew to move this stuff....for sure.
They had cut drain pipe to roll some of the pieces into the house for staining and some they just carried.......
The contractor is working on something....if we set them on 19.2 center and it's 6 inches thick and ......yada yada yada.......ROTFL....
Now it's time again to start staining.....and staining.....and more staining.....but sometime this will end.....won't it?????
And staining.....and staining....and staining ........by the gallon.....
We spent alot of time cleaning up after the guys, so it's a nice and beautiful safe place to come and enjoy the day......NOW GET TO WORK!!!!!
