The theater room which was the TV room back in the 60's and the family room back in the 80's is getting it's final studding before the drywallers sheet it up baby.....
At the top of the picture you can see a box which houses a 15 foot roll down screen so you can watch Johnny Depp come screamin across the bow in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie in awesome surround sound. You can also roll it back up and watch a total of 5 flat screen tvs. This way you can watch 5 football games on Saturday afternoon instead of having to flip around to watch the games......
The billard room is coming along nicely as the guys work a third coat of mud. With 12 foot ceiling it requires them to work off scaffolding all day....
The entire exercise area was covered with green board because of the steam from the shower, sauna or hot tub.
The roofers spent days and weeks which turned into months......sometimes I feel it's ground hog day again just in a different arena. But working around beams and logs require a higher degree of workmanship.......it's all in the details....now isn't it?
As the drywallers work around the second floor, a clean up crew is following behind them. Every spot, every drop, every speck....PERIOD!!!
The guys even setup scaffolding all over the place in order to speed up the finishing process, this way you saw guys running all over the place. One problem was, that the walk boards would stick out about 3 feet beyond the scaffolding and Lord knows how many times I got nailed in the forehead walking around inspecting the workmanship......
What do you do when one of the golden goes and sits in the bucket of the bobcat waiting for a ride..........well you get in and take her for a lap around the block, of course.........ROTFL!!!
