My son at it again.
Well, he is at it again but with our trak-hoe this time as we build retaining wall from river rocks.......four dump trucks loads of river rocks, now you may not know this but river rocks are more then just river rocks....there are small, not so small, regular, just a little bigger then regular, not to large, large, big and my mother in law.
I made a mistake by ordering the wrong size, really I didn't understand because it's all based on opinions. Just like trading the CCI without any thing else....you know, "OH, that wasn't a ZLR it was a Shamu after all.....ROTFL.
The rocks on the bottom of the wall are the mother in law rocks, and they are huge.
But by the time we got to the last load we had it about right.....
After setting the rocks, we had to back fill with dirt left over from the foundation, in fact, I took quite a while to figure out how wide to make the wall so we would use most of the dirt....
It looks great, now we just need more plants and trees........
Mean while back in the garage, one of the amigo was cutting in the primer. The funny part of this is he had to stand on a bucket in order to get to the top of the walls.........
The color is a little off, because the garage walls were painted a bright orange....Anyways, these side cut from the sawmill we had come and cut up some logs will end up in the pool room.
These boards came from logs that were left over when we build the second floor and then had cut by the sawmill. Now, three coats of Sikkens cedar and we'll be ready to finish up on the Jack Daniels Room.....
We went to Nashville a week or so ago and visited several showroom, while shopping around we found the perfect, and the coolest, and the hottest, WOW factor vanity on the planet.......so I had to tell the plumber to move pipes......
Because the drains had to be moved, the heating and air guys were happy to hear that they had to move a couple of pipes also.......WHERE IS THE ELECTRICIANS AGAIN.....
