Let's get the gable end done and finished today......

Before we started to set the trusses I had them cut out some templates....in order to use them as spacers. Each piece of plywood was notched 16 inch on center. This really made things go faster.

Because of the octagon, they had to set an end brace and they finished up setting the trusses.

Couple times a week, we see racoons and deer running around the property....at night we used to see a 150-200 pound bear, but think he is sleeping now......which is good because it gives the security guards a heart attack.

Finally they sat the last roof truss and you can see the spacers which will be removed as soon as the stift backs are nailed in place.

Meanwhile the guys are waiting on the gable....and waiting and waiting.

So up went the sheeting....one piece at a time..

Ever stand on the edge with a sheet of plywood...hoping the wind doesn't get above 20mph........have ya?

Oh did I mention that ......the edge is only about 60 feet in the air?

The keys in not to look down.....or down town or down the valley........ROTFL.

As the day came to the end, the gable end is almost finished.......now the real fun starts.....
