Woodies CCI CLub on the edge.....

Friday was an interesting day to say the least, first someone came into the Woodies CCI Club and posted 8 times with a speed key.....
ALERT ALERT - GIO AND JEANYUS AT RELAY7 TRADINGELEMENTS!
Well at least that is a fib number if nothing else, it appears that someone using the nickname "tyler7" was the person posting this alert. It was posted that their email address was sallie1271@yahoo.com. With in minutes the text was cleared and it got ugly.

Over in TradingElements on relay7, all hell broke loose right at high noon as Dick from Hotcomm unloaded on the attendees. But I hope that calm heads can prevail here for a few minutes.......while we review things.

It was wrong for whoever to come into Woodies CCI CLUB and post about Gio being on another relay....if you read the disclaimer posting about religious, political, sexual or even soliciting was agreed upon when you entered the room or their website....and in a way this would be soliciting.

But that is not the problem is it, the problem is who and why....so let's look at the players in this soap opera and what purpose and cause there would be.....
1. TradingElements and Gio/JeanYus, what purpose would they have to do this? If you type in their names in a search engine like...Gio CCI......Gio Woodies CCI Club.....Gio JeanYus up comes a bunch of posts ...most from this blog so it's not like they can't be found. Gio and JeanYus have had website for a long time and most traders that like them and follow them would have been bookmarked and could find them that way also.....so is there anything to gain for them to post the alert in Woodies CCI Club.......very very little.

2. Woodies CCI Club, What purpose would they have to do this? Well, there is only one that I can figure out and that would be make TradingElements look like the bad guys and try and have the room shut down since their numbers are raising with Woodies number declining on a weekly basis.

3. Someone not involved with the inter working of either chat room.
What purpose would they have to do this? Well, I can think of two.....I am sure that everyone else can think of say.....34...but for me it's only two.
A. It would be someone that loves TradingElements and is just doing this without thinking of what it is doing to both rooms.
B. It could also be someone that loves to get stuff stirred up and sit back and laughs at everyone as they screammmmmm back and forth....a pot stirrer we call them.

So which one would it be then.......well when you sign up for hotcomm...your email address and paypal account or credit card used is recorded.....when you log into hotcomm your IP and info on file is logged in..... When you then log into any room again your nickname, email address and IP is also recorded with a time stamp. It looks like this:

So who ever posted that ALERT in Woodies CCI Club room could very easily be tracked back to who it belongs to......if you remember that is how we busted Jimsy as he came into TradersParadise chat room one day saying some nasty things...logging back out...changing his nickname...logging back in and saying more crapola......6 times within an hour.......making it look like it was different people.

I hope that hotcomm takes a look at the login/logout sheets and sees where this person is coming from....and bans his IP and returns his money as they can not be good for Hotcomm, Woodie or any other room. There was a time that Hotcomm was building a business model around dating rooms....once Woodie came in the picture and Hotcomm saw the holy grail for chat rooms......it's biggest revenue was from one source...Woodies CCI Club. But 2.5 years later and now up around 250 rooms that percentage is far less then it was back in the summer of 2003 and I would have to believe it could only be in Hotcomm best overall interest to have this nonsence stopped in it's tracks.

A notice posted in the chat rooms, that anyone doing this will be bannned forever, and then when it happens again....ban them and show the rest of the world who it was would no doubt do the trick.....and everyone could play in their own sand box and we all lived happily ever after..............WHY NOT!!!!!!
Or it will only get more and more uglier.....and of course....ugly is ugly...ain't it.

Dennis, you had a lot of time on your hands this weekend!

I wish you would have asked me about the calendar and Soren. I could have saved you an hour of writing. LOL. When I make changes on it, the way it is set up, it erases whole blocks of time. That is totally unintentional.

Soren is still in the room with us. I see his name all the time.

No one is expected to moderate forever. We all have lives that go on outside of WCCI.

Now at least I know why you left in such a "huff"....

I guess you must be a real Southerner. You do whine a lot in this blog about "past injustices" that you think happened. Sorta like the Civil War.

A New Yorker would shrug his shoulders at all of this and say "who cares? If I don't like it, lump it!" and move on.

Did you and Bob split up?

Cathy,

If you are one of those traders helping traders, why not let the rest of the woodie room attendees know about this blog? Are you afraid they may start thinking for themselves?

LOL....
No Bob and I are still happily married.

I think most of the members are aware of this blog all on their own. But most of them are enjoying the new house construction photos like me and taking all the "chit chat" with a grain of salt.

I like your "pineapple" too Dennis. LOL

Having been in the trading elements room from the beginning, the events of last friday - where the ceo of 1stworks - hotcomm - comes into the trading elements room and gives gio and jeanyus the opportunity to "fix" the problem, was too comical and disturbing for words. When Dave from 1st works was asked directly - why don't you just ban the troublemaker - he responded "i'm not going to do that without proof". So I guess its up to the other 170+ members of trading elements to solve hotcomm and woodies problem rather than hotcomm. Today the room was capped at 100 members by Hotcomm then later to 150. So many could not be logged in. You cannot believe what goes on, unless you were actually here. We just want to trade and be left alone

Cathy,

You know how fast you'd get bounced from Woodie's room if you posted a link to this blog. You're so indoctrinated to the Woodie BS you'd probably bounce yourself.

I don't think you'd even want to tell them about the great pictures Dennis is posteing here of his new home.

Shame on you Cathy - keeping others in the dark about what goes on beyond Woodie's room is unforgiveable.

There's a much simpler solution. Let your hotComm subscription run out, don't go into chat rooms anymore and then trade the markets based on what YOU see. All of those rooms are overrated. Take the personal responsibility to make all of your own mistakes and create your own successes. Your imagination and creativity will grow the more you depend upon yourself.

What most traders lack is confidence. If you end up failing then fail with the confidence that you gave it your best shot. Then, you won't have regrets. Don't fail by having or transfering confidence in/to other people. That's not taking responsibility for your own actions in the market.
