Christmas party time!!!!!

So we decided to have a Xmas party for all the people working up on the hill building our new home along with their family and friends. Twenty two workers turned into 102 people including 21 kids. The buffet was great all the way down to the sweet potatoes, green beans and mashed pots, turkey and ham and warm fresh baked rolls and all the sweet tea you could drink.

Kevin came with his electric piano and played Christmas music as everyone enjoy the food. Then we played a game, giving out 21 (a fib number) lottery tickets to each household and a lot of busting when one between the tables as everyone stratched and stratched.

Then Kevin played Rollin around the Christmas tree followed by Here comes Santa Clause as Santa walked into the room with two red bags of gifts. A little boy that was dancing turned around as Santa walked up to him, he stepped back and off the dance floor and fell backwards on to the floor with the eyes the size of silver dollars, it was a great moment.

Then Santa sat down and started to call out names......HO HO HO....where is my Alisa at this evening.....and a kid would jump up, ran to Santa and sat on his lap and they talked for a moment as Santa gave her a gift, along with a box of candy. You see we had a list from every parent with their name, age and a gift they wanted for Christmas. My wife spent two days shopping, like that was a problem....rotfl.

What a great evening as they left having the little ones come up and tell us what a great time they had, showing us what Santa brought for them, and even the parents enjoyed the evening.

Someone once gave me some advice, to build a small modest house instead of the house we are and give it all to the poor and homeless. I would sooner help the 22 people working on the hill that are willing to get up each day, work and be responsible for their own lives instead of standing in line with just a hand out. That might sound gruel at this time of the year........but when someone needs help, I am there 100%, but if they "JUST" except support for one reason or another.....they can pound........well you know......
