It seems everyday around 10:00am the rockers show up ready to lay some stone, they are paid by the square foot, so they don't stand around talking about which indicator to use. They lay stone.

Just as soon as they screw the wire mess to the walls, and give it a coat of mud, they lay stone......all day.

Around the backer board they apply tar paper and then they are allowed to staple it into place, but have to also screw it tight before they can mud it down. Here one of the guys are nailing the wire mess.

When we trade everyday, we have to decide if this is the right setup so I understand when these guy stare at a piece of rock trying to figure out if it's the right one.....ROTFL......all day long.

Even when it rains and you can't see more then 100 feet, they are laying stone....all day.

When I say all day, I mean all day and into the night at times. When it's warm out they will lay stone up to around 9:00pm, we even setup lights so they could get this job finished.

This is what it looked like the next morning, as we are now ready for cap blocks to finish this out.

Even the other side of the house is finished and ready for the landscaping to come in. Several trees are being removed because of the fire damage and replaced.

Well the heating and air condition guys showed up and guess what? We don't have big enough of an area for all the units, so now we have to build one more $)^!$*!$_(^!*$ retaining wall. Here come the blocks....

At least there was enough block left over from building everything else and enough of the mortar from having the gunite done after the fire that we didn't have to buy anything here........There was one little problem.

Everything had to be mixed by hand from the footer to the mortar. Here they are using a laser level to make sure the footer is correct.

And then it started, the mixing by hand. When I said somethng to them about it...they replied that this is the way they did it at home when they were growing up and in fact they liked the feel of it......So much for buying a cement mixer then.
