Just a little fog...that's all

There are a few days when you can't see anything.......

Once those steel post and beams were installed they had to be fastened to the standing walls. 10" lag bolts were used to make sure nothing moved or shifted. Each bolt had to be started by hand before they could use......

an air wrench............there were 28 lags installed before the welder could take over.

Now most mobile welder run into "A" special project from time to time, but 40 feet in the air.....it was funny in one way watching him hang on by one hand and work....the scaffolding shook the whole time.

The two center beams ran about 2 feet above the roof line, so they had to be marked, cut off and these plates welded back in.....and that is even higher.....

So, he left all his welding equipment, and had talked our man into doing it for him.....rotfl. Just 67 feet above the garage level and 7 sets of scaffolding high, you can see the angled end as James welds the cross brace in at the correct level so much for an engineered job.....the top was about 2 feet to high.

Then came the next phase of this process, fitting a wood strip in between all the I-beams.....one on each side. Then they had to be drilled every foot, and carriage bolts installed. This took 3 guys 4 days to complete, 2 working up on the wall and one cutting materials and throwing them up.

The other morning we had a SECURITY ALERT, this was not a drill, as the goldens found a trespasser that had entered the property and looking around to steal something.....The goldens ran from floor to floor trying to contain this intruder, after their 8 hours shift, it was decided to have the nighttime security guards park up at the top of the hill, so "Rob the raccoon" could get his tail down the mountain. He still comes back at night from the security video we have, won't say who is feeding him, BUT, at least he hasn't started to bring the entire family ....well at least not yet.
