Raising the arches.....

Twas two days before Thanksgiving, when all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse: The posts are all set on the fourth floor with care, in hopes that the crane would soon be there.

So over the house the crane came with care....hey hey..isn't this another story by the way.....picked up the beams and then I heard.

Someone call out, "Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
(there is always a Vixen in every group isn't there) To the top of the porch! to the top of the house! Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!".........

He spoke not a word, but went straight to work, drilling, inserting the draw bolts, washers and nuts then screwing the ollies straight in place.

And filled all the holes with dowel plugs, then turned in a jerk with straps on the arches and he was ready to lift them into the sky.

And laying his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up into the air he rose:

He sprang to his walkboard, to his team gave a whistle,

And away they all worked like a bunch of elves.
But I heard him exclaim, as he hung on for dear life.
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all great trading good night.........

Ok, so it put two of them asleep, and the third one is almost.....

Thumper looks like she is afraid I will quit my day job and start writing poetry for a living.....she worries alot.
