SWEET 16 here we come.....again and again and again

The NCAA Women Tournaments have been going on for 25 years now....and the UT Lady Vols have been in every tournament is one thing....but to have made it to the Sweet 16 every year is something else.....and the Ladies have.....think about those odds, SHOOT...that is every better then using the CCI isn't it.....?

Candice Parker, as you now know if you aren't to busy paying for a new indicator from some market guru, was a slammin, jammin and dunkin during the first game against ARMY... So everyone was waiting to see if she would put on a show during the GW game. During warmups she entertained the crowd with a few of them....just to juice up the fans....

After UT had gone up by 17, the "COACH" called time out and changed the trading plan.....oh I mean strategy. Shanna was now driving the ball to the rim instead of firing off 3 pointers....

Parker wasn't slammin, jammin or dukin.....she was just taking it to the hoops, the problem for GW was simple. You ain't goin to stop someone if "your" feet are on the floor ......are you?

ARE YOU???????

As UT was working on some stuff......GW was able to get back to within 9.....Pat called time out and it wasn't soon before even Smokey was dancing the Sweet 16 waltz......

Each school has so many tickets for each round....UT has a waiting list and always turns out strong .....even in Norfolk.

This is the Lady Vols' 32nd season under Head Coach Pat Summitt...She has compiled a staggering 912-176 overall record...Led her Tennessee squad to the 2006 SEC Tournament Championship...Collected her 900th career coaching win with a 80-68 decision over #19-ranked Vanderbilt on Jan. 19, 2006... She passed Dean Smith (879 wins) for most NCAA collegiate basketball wins of all-time with a 75-54 victory over Purdue on Mar. 22, 2005 ...Her 2004-05 squad finished third in the NCAA Final Four Championships with a 30-5 overall record and were the SEC Tournament Champions... this past weekend will just be another footnote in history because of Candice being the first women to dunk in a tournament game....not once....but TWICE.

'Lady vols' must refer to the woman's volleyball team. So what are they doing at a basketball game? And what is this about the university of texas? I thought you were in tennessee? and who called out the army for a basketball game? You merkins are weird!

Just a confused canuck...
