The fireplace people have been busy while everyone else was working up on the roof system......each day another load to pipe came......
Each piece of the 16 inch pipe is set, then screwed together at 4 points.....tied to the metal studs and up they go.......once they are in place then extra braces is added to the studs....
Wonder board or backer board is then placed over the studs.....there will be 2 layers of board installed before the rockers take off......
These guys give me heart failure at times as they climb all over the place to do whatever is needed done.....
After the backer board is installed, they will touch up any defects in the rafters from the process of installing them.....while they are up there...ROTFL...
Interior walls are going up as they work on the fireplaces....things are starting to move...FINALLY.,
The next wall needs to go here......NO NO...over here where my toe is....NO NO the plans say......and on and on it goes.......
The master suite is about 1,700 square feet and they are working on the interior walls for all the closets, bathroom, shower, and the play pen....
I have been around construction all my life, but I have never seen someone like the plumber we have......the pipes fit perfectly....and that is something to behold....he is making sure it plumb.....I guess that is why he is a plumber.....ROTFL.
Then he drills the holes and there are a zillion of them, I think he is being paid by the fittings and amount of holes drilled....
