Woodies CCI Club Autotrader week 4

Well, it's been a month since the AutoTrader started trading that $5,000.00 real account live according to the info on the Woodies CCI Club website. On Thursday, after commissions, NFA fees, OTE fees and that $200.00 to be part of it fee, well we are down to $4,370.97. That is about a 12.6% drawdown on the account for the month of May, I still don't know why Mr. Wood just doesn't trade it himself instead of this computer assisted stuff anyways.

With about 12 bucks a day for commissions and figuring that there were 17 trading days this month, (they don't trade on Friday) that would be about 200 plus for commission and then two hundred a month fee for using the AutoTrader, I can see why the broker might be interested in this. Of course, I would have to think that if the dang thing made....say 2,000 for the month who would care about having to cough up 400 bucks.......BUT..........

Its a mystery...those charts on the autotrader page show all those nice blue winning trades...but, the balance seems to be down some more today to 4272.

There seems to be a slight scent of curve fitting with the secret 'velocity cci' or whatever the heck it is.

Yesterday Woodie talked about the autotrader and said the programer said it doesnt perform well during the summer months. And then said they were changing to a new system that was based on range bars and cci patterns. Woodie said you have to be patient and cant go based on week or monthly results but long term.If the program results were poor during summer months why is it trading now. it already did not trade on fridays.I would have no problem with a system trading 9 months of the year if it were profitable. And it seems to be a contradiction to switch sytems after such a short period of time.Well I guess we will find out how well the CCI setups work real time on a auto system
