Air handlers.......

The heating and air guys have their hands full placing the air handlers on their pads. Feeding the copper pipes from the furances thru the house was enough to have them talking to themselves but now they have to figure out how to install it according to something called.....CODE.

No electrial wires or copper tubing is allowed to be showing once this is completed and I don't believe they planned for that.......

I keep a note pad next to the bed, so in the middle of the night I get those thoughts I can draw them out or at least make notes. The billard room will be a Jack Daniels themed billard room. The first thing was to lay it out, a row of whiskey barrels on the left that will be three rows high. The cue racks will be in the middle of the inside wall with display cabinets on both sides. A sofa in front of the fireplace along with end tables on both sides should complete the room.

Of course, sometimes you have to draw it out a few times until you get something you believe will give the best layouts.......

The first thing will be to line the walls with those side cuts we made when we cut up all those logs a while back. Each board will have to be cut into place as it's a slow go.

Add to the problem is there are cedar tree posts all over the place so the post also needs to be notched to receive the board for a nice clean fit. With 12 to 16 inch wide boards and 12 foot ceiling, there will be about 9 boards per wall.

After the boards were finished the floor went down, we used the Carriage House from the Biltmore Estate series that Anderson Floors makes. The engineered flooring is run thru a process where it's hand hewn twice, instead of being done by machine. One pass is done in one direction and then it's reversed for the second pass before being stained and finished. We used just over 8,000 square feet of this flooring thru out the house.

As soon as the base boards are installed we will be ready to start bringing in the cabinets and barrels, barrels and more barrels

Jason,

I think Dennis's "nice place" is going to cost him 300K a year just to live in it (for property taxes, heating/cooling, water/sewage, telephone, full-on cable services, security expenses, cleaning services, internal and external maintenance, insurance, etc, etc).

Dennis's "nice place" is a monster and it's always going to be hungry. But that's okay. It's his money and his baby. More power to him.

Only 300k a year.....THAT'S GREAT I had projected more then that.
One thing is we ain't got no telephones or 8 tracks here.....out dated.....but you forgot the T-1 line....also the electric bill.....which runs a cool 7-800 a month.
A full time housekeeper and two full time gardeners......
I guess your double wide ain't got those so that's why you didn't figure them in ......
