People ask me all the time, why do you live in the middle of hillbilly country? Well it has to do with the quality of life I guess. You are eating lunch at a local hangout and the owner finds out it's your birthday...picks up his guitar and sings you Happy Birthday, of course, we all join in.
You go there for dinner and now he has someone who just showed up with a banjo and they break out into "The circle will be unbroken" and again the whole place is singing. You don't find this kind of a life style outside of these mountains.....I've looked.
