Are you having problems trading???????

We said we'd walk together come what may
That come the twilight should we lose our way
If as we're walkin a hand should slip free
I'll wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me

We swore we'd travel side by side
We'd help each other stay in stride
But each trader's steps fall so differently
But I'll wait for you
And if I should fall behind
Wait for me

Now everyone dreams of a system that is lasting and true
But you and I know what this world can do
So let's make our steps clear that the other may see
And I'll wait for you
If I should fall behind
Wait for me

Now there's a beautiful river in the valley ahead
There 'neath the oak's bough soon we will be together
Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees
I'll wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me

Portfilio Update 08-31-08

Nothing like a good downdraft in the overall market when you have several trades on the bullish side, is there?

1. FFBC: The first profit target was hit at $13.65 and having it close at $13.01 we are still on the plus side with an entry of $12.82. I would like to hang tough to $14.75 on this one and have moved the stop up just under the pivot at $12.46.

2. SGEN: Will if this doesn't trigger by Wednesday, then it will come off the hot sheet and be replaced by something else.

3. TJX: With an entry at $35.89 and it rolled all the way up to $37.20 on Thursday afternoon we were able to get the 85 cent first target. The problem during the down market on Friday, TJX stopped right at the .786 of the last swing. With a stop at $34.90 we can only pray that the hurricane misses most of the oil rigs in the gulf over the next day or so..... The profit target on the second half is $39.02.

4. ISYS: Hit it's first target for 85 cents, right after that on Friday it is now trying it's best to take out the pivot at $43.05. If it does that we would be taking a $2.55 hit on the second half.....so under the desk we go ....uhmmmmmmm. $57.53 is our goal for the second half.

5. DXPE: If you take the swing from $37.45 to the last pivot at $54.56 and do your fib work you would find that the target for this trade would be the 1.272 at $59.22. On Friday, as the rest of the market was heading for the toilet bowl, DXPE was moving higher. There is a good chance that this stock could rumble all the way up to $65.14 but without me. 85 cents on the first half and about $4.90 on the second half is good enough for me......A WINNER..... :)

6. DIS: It triggered and we got that first 85 cents, no problem but by a hair, right now the chart pattern is showing that the high on Thursday and also on Firday is right at the .786. The good news is that on a down draft day, DIS held her own, if we can pop above the last pivot we will be on our way to $34.43. Otherwise, we will have to throw the towel in at $31.20.

Most likely SGEN will be dropping off the hot list on Tuesday and with DXPE hitting it's target, we only have FFBC, TJX, ISYS and DIS left in the portfolio, maybe time to go dumpster diving again and see what we can find... :)

Portifilio UPDATE.........

Well, it's 1:30pm ET and today we have had more activity then we have had the past two weeks.
1. FFBC is up to $13.14 and rolling since we were looking for $13.65 to take half off and book a profit....I like a profit... :)

2. SGEN has gotten to $11.20 but we are still flat, no base system trigger yet.
3. TJX has triggerd at $35.89 and is now rolling at $36.41.
4. ISYS has triggered at $45.60 and is now rolling at $46.35, it did hit a $45.65 and that was good enoug to hit that first target....:)
5. DXPE has triggered at $54.23 and is now rolling at $56.40, so have our first target at $55.08 and looking good....:)
6. DIS has triggered at $31.79 and is now rolling at $32.53, it has traded to $32.67 and we were looking for our first target at $32.64 or 85 cents, and this means we have taken half off and booked some.

So today, we have so far been able to trigger our longs from last night update and hit the first target on 4 out of 5 stocks. TJX and FFBC are rolling, so who knows by the end of the day.... :)

Just remember this.....

This day and age we're living in gives cause for apprehension
With speed and new invention and things like fourth dimension
Yet we get a trifle weary with Mr. Einstein's theory
So we must get down to earth at times relax relieve the tension
And no matter what the progress or what may yet be proved
The simple facts of life are such they cannot be removed
You must remember this A KISS IS STILL A KISS,
a sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply as time goes bye.

And when two lovers woo they still say, "I love you"
On that you can rely no matter what the future brings
As time goes by moonlight and love songs
Never out of date, hearts full of passion
Jealousy and hate, woman needs man
And man must have his mate that no one can deny
Well, it's still the same old story, a fight for love and glory
A case of do or die, the world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by, Oh yes, the world will always welcome lovers
As time goes bye bye

Traders Paradise moves into the 21st century

You might have notice a change in my little blog the past couple of days as I have upgraded for the latest blog features. You can now have instant updates right to your computer desktop by using the RSS Feed thingie.

No need to constantly checking to see what I am up to....this way the brown shirts at your local CCI cult, I mean club, can spend their time spying on you.......talk about progress..:)

Portfilio Update 08-27-08

Well, we have a one stock portfilio so far, which I am sure that everyone thinks by now I should have 10 to 15 stocks in the portfilio. Well, FFBC is now up a whooping 20 cents from the entry of $12.80. Now it did announce today that it will pay a 17cent dividend and we all like a dividend.

SGEN, has not triggered yet, if it can get it's backend up to $11.20 maybe we can find a base system buy trigger after waiting more then a week.

TJX, if it can trade above $35.89 tomorrow we will be adding this to the portfilio.
ISYS, if it can trade above $45.60 tomorrow...same thing.
DXPE, is it can trade above $54,23 tomorrow...ditto.
DIS, if it can trade above $31.79, this won't be a Mickey Mouse trade....:)

So it's time to build a portfilio for the workshop....where I will show you how to find the stocks of interest, how to setup a base system trade with solid rules and then how to get on board. You can even use this style if you have a day job....no need to sit at the screen and stare..........

The democrats have suddenly developed a keen sense of morality.

The democrats have suddenly developed a keen sense of morality.

John Edwards has been banned from making a speech at the democratic convention for having an extra-marital affair and lying about it.

In his place, Bill Clinton will be speaking.
Hummm......no way...no how...yada yada yada

Monday, August 25, 2008

Well dang it anyways.......

I have given the list of several stocks that I will be using for the up coming workshop from three different sources and have posted it. Well, today was not a good one for the whole list....now some didn't have the base system setup that I will be talking about and showing just how with some simple rules that anyone can make a few bucks. But the whole list took it on the chin today.

Which brings us to the trade management ideas for the workshop, we will be using several different styles of managing the trade. Each with rules, so no smoke and mirrors for this kid. I personally like to take some off at the certain point, and it doesn't matter if it's in the index futures, stocks, options or even corn. But we will look at each of them, case by case.

The educational workshop is about half full at this point, and if you want to come, well it's freeeeeeeeeee, first of all. In fact, I'll even print out the manual, feed ya lunch and so on. All you are required to do is bring an open mind, park the ego, and make a donation directly to one of three local charities or all three if you like, in the amount that you feel, in your heart, is the proper amount.

Oktoberfest is the night before the workshop, and you can go and purchase tickets directly from the United Way if you want at http://www.uwosc.org/ now they are going to update the website and provide a paypal link or something soon.....and correct the date to the 3rd.

Portfilio update.....

WE are currently building a stock portfilio for the examples during the next educational workshop coming up the first weekend in October. I had picked two stocks up until Friday and they are...SGEN and FFBC.

In our base system that I will be showing at the workshop, FFBC went long at $12.80 around 12:20 ET on Friday. We will be looking to pull 85 cents from this stock, then sell half and put a breakeven stop at our entry. So time will tell, this should take a couple days...... :(

The list of stock for the workshop........

With only 5 weeks before the workshop, I believe I need to step up the stock selection we will be taking a look at during the next educational workshop. So here is the list, and the first question should be....WELL, were did this list come from...outer space, your barber? Well, no I will be doing a research project from three sources, each have a good track record for picking stocks to buy. This research project will only be looking to purchase stocks and not to short them.

Going over their list, first thing I notice is GOOG, now GOOG might be a great stock but the darn thing is trading in the 500 bucks a share range. So if you have a 20k account you are screwed. The reason is, only a pure fool would take his 20k and buy just one stock, that is formula for disaster or a candiate for the RED BALL. And if he did, that would be about 40 shares and the cost of commissions would be high on a per share basis.

The second group has cheap stocks, under 10 bucks, so you could buy 100 or 200 shares and spread the joy around.

The third group is all over the place which is good...in a way.

Anyways, here is the list of stocks that we can now go to our base system and see if we can start to buy a couple of them this week......stay tuned.

Next up.....FFBC......

Yesterday, I posted SGEN, with an entry area that we have not been able to trade down to, so we are not long this one on a trigger from the Base System.

Tonight we have as second stock of interest:
FIRST FINL BCP OH (NASDAQ:FFBC) First Financial Bancorp. (First Financial) is a bank holding company that engages in the business of commercial banking and other banking and banking-related activities through its wholly owned subsidiary, First Financial Bank, National Association. The range of banking services provided by First Financial to its customers includes commercial lending, real estate lending, consumer credit, credit card and other personal loan financing. In addition, First Financial offers deposit services that include interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing deposit accounts and time deposits. A range of trust and asset management services is also provided by First Financial.

www.squeezetrigger.com is monitoring FIRST FINL BCP OH (NASDAQ:FFBC) in real time and just received an alert that is crossing above its primary SqueezeTrigger Price, the price that a short squeeze can start in any stock. There are 4058600 shares that have been shorted at the volume weighted average SqueezeTrigger Price of $12.302. To access SqueezeTrigger Prices ahead of potential short squeezes beginning, visit http://www.squeezetrigger.com.

From January 2005 to July 2008, an aggregate amount of 37404588 shares of FFBC have been shorted for a total dollar value of $448,855,056.00. The FFBC SqueezeTrigger price of $12.302 is the volume weighted average price that all shorts are short in shares of FFBC. There is still approximately $50,083,124.00 of potential short covering in shares of FFBC.

SqueezeTrigger.com has built a massive database that collects, analyzes and publishes a proprietary SqueezeTrigger Price for each stock that has been shorted. The data has then been integrated into an automated trading platform which can be used to connect to a live online broker and automate your trading of short squeeze events. It is extremely powerful with lightening fast execution at a very low price. Both the trading software and SqueezeTrigger data feed are available at http://www.squeezetrigger.com.

So I will be watching for an entry down around the $12.00 area for a trigger to purchase some stock. The daily volume is around the 150 to 175k area so as with yesterday idea....you can't buy 500,000 shares and get in or back out gracefully. But that doesn't mean we can't use some basic money management skills and buy these stocks and build a balanced portfolio to swing trade or long term based on your goals.

I even see that IDC, or as we know it as eSignal is about to come up on my radar screen, maybe Monday.......funny stuff. This workshop should be fun as we explore other areas of trading along with the day stuff....

Seattle Genetics is the first pick of this experiment

With the symbol of SGEN, Seattle Genetics will be the first stock pick for the up coming workshop. Today it traded at $11.73 and if it can trade down to the $11.00 to $11.25 area we will look for a "Base System" buy trigger.

Seattle Genetics, Inc. (Nasdaq:SGEN) announced on July 31, 2008 that it has initiated a phase I clinical trial of SGN-70, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD70 that is being developed as an investigational therapy for autoimmune diseases. The trial will assess the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of SGN-70 in healthy volunteers. CD70 is also expressed on several types of cancer, including multiple myeloma, lymphoma, renal cell cancer, glioblastoma and several other solid tumors. In addition to SGN-70, Seattle Genetics is advancing SGN-75, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD70, for the treatment of cancer and expects to file an investigational new drug (IND) application in 2009.

Now of course, only a fool would just buy this because you read something on the internet or in a blog about it. But follow along over the next several weeks as we move toward the workshop. I want to make sure that you know that these picks are not in hindsight...cherry pickin...crapola. At this workshop, I will show how I find these picks, how I determine which ones could be used for a trade, how I setup the trade and then how I trigger into the trade....also what am I looking for in profits......

This workshop is for anyone that wants to understand how to trade without depending upon your barber, the paperboy, mother-in-law or for heaven sake......MARIA.....:)

The next workshop and what to expect!!!!

The next Educational Workshop that is coming up will have a new agenda, after doing the same thing over and over even I am bored, so have you ever wanted to swing trade stocks? If the answer if yes, then maybe I have a couple of ideas for you.

What I will be doing over the next couple of weeks, is first post a couple of stocks that I will be using at the educational workshop, so that those of you who don't like a cherry picker hindsighted chicken eatin redneck to say....after the whole thing is finish....yea yea you should have gotten that one..... :)

I will post the stock the day that I do something with it, then at the workshop I will go into details of how I picked that stock in the first place, how I would use what we have come to know as the "BASE" system to find a low risk setup and finally how I entered and managed the trade.

So don't be a fool like Mittens here and when I say this is a stock to just say a prayer and punch the order entry key.....we don't need no fools... OKKKKKKKK. But you can follow along and see if you are currently a follower and have the "BASE" system...... :)

Details of the next educational workshop are having the final touches being putting on them now.......Oktoberfest will be on Friday night and you can purchase tickets directly from the United Way of Sevier County at http://www.uwosc.org/ They will be updating their website this week.....All the beer and brats you punch down..... :)

What does a man gain????

Well the deal was for the workshop, a simple one, I would set it up, get the tables and chairs, overhead projectors, do a 7 power points, print out the manual, and for three days talk about my favorite subject in life, besides my family.....and I would even trade live with real money on Monday to back up my views of how to trade.

If you wanted to come, well, your part was to just stroke a check to one of my three local charities after they spoke to you on Monday before the trading started. You could write a check to one, or to two, or to all three charities if you like and I didn't care how much you gave because you were suppose to give from your heart.

Well, 77 people showed up along with their wives and kids and we had a great time on Saturday night listening to the hillbilly band play and eatin Bar-B-Que ribs...Even better then that...88 people viewed the workshop from all around the world because they couldn't come here.

Of the 88 people, I allowed one person to volunteer his time to the Boys and Girls Club this summer and help them since he was tight on funds. Traders helping Traders, remember that slogan...it's a great one for sure. This wasn't about me trying to make money off attendees, shoot the indicators were in the book and open code for the programmer junkies out there.....

We raised over $86,000.00 during the three days and that has still blown me away, but the fellow that offered to volunteer, well he never came thru. You can click on the picture to read the email if you like.....but what does a man gain if he loses his word.........and the word was for the children. Remember, that HE said, when you do to the least of them, you have done it in my name, or something close to that.

I only hope Jimmy find his answer.......it's a long road at times.

BACK TO WORK..............................

Well most of you folks have asked....WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO SPORT, he went on a 3 day July 4th vacation and dropped off the radar screen. Well, I got tied up in a couple of projects and couldn't get back during the daytime. More on that later because it been an interesting month, at least, in my part of the world.

Those who know Syndey, well she now has a little sister as of 4:23pm yesterday named
McKinsey a perfect little baby girl coming in a 6 pounds and 15 ounces.

Well, I'm back and will be trading again on Monday and also will be in the chat room called A Traders Paradise on TradingRooms.com. Those who asked for direction to join will receive an email this weekend......

Until then enjoy the weekend.....

FEMA makes a huge math error...surprise surprise

Surprise, Surprise FEMA seems to make an accouting error, after storing emergency supplies for the victims of Katrina (which happens a few years ago) to the tune of just about 66.6 million dollars. Not that the real problem is, first of all, that FEMA could not figure out how to actually give the emergency supplies to the victim in the first place.

But then they gave them away to prisons, fire departments, colleges and even the agency that regulates the state's casino industry in Mississippi.

In Louisiana officials originally declined the supplies when FEMA gave them away; the state's surplus property agency told CNN it was unaware of the need.

Now the Senate and the House of non-reps will again have another hearing on Thursday to find out what went wrong, how could Homeland Security, the mother in charge of FEMA dropped the ball again......those 70,000 mobile homes are still non-mobile.

And you wonder why the people don't trust the government, why a time share salesman who is below a used car salesman rates higher then the kids in Washington. The candidates are more worried about what the other one said and the latest polls then stepping out and talking about things that matter to us regular folks......

Jury Duty Scam

Jury Duty Scam

This has been verified by the FBI (their link is also included below). Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of fraud has surfaced.

The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo; your identity was just stolen.

The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma , Illinois , and Colorado . This (swindle) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they are with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.

Check it out here: http://www.fbi.gov/page2/june06/jury_scams060206.htm

China Beach......

A nice relaxing holiday weekend in China just ain't the same as one might like it, how come you don't see this on those nice shiny brochures they send you all the time. But I like one thing about this....if you look at the beach umbrellas, you'll see orange and white and POWER "T".........YIKES.

The Buffalo Theroy.....

'Well you see, Norm, it's like this . . . A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the lowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But natur ally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.'

New Government Seal:

Official Announcement:
Dateline: Washington DC, from the office of Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Congressional Clausus, July 4th, 2008.

The federal government today announced that it is changing its emblem from an Eagle to a CONDOM because it more accurately reflects the government's political stance.. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed!?

Damn, it just doesn't get more accurate than that.

We are moving this week......into a new digs......

Well, after spending time in the chat room Limitdown we are moving this week into a new chat room....password protected of course, so the folks that have to come into an open chat room and try to sell their crap, or solicit, or ask stupid questions like "What is your sign?"

The chat room is open and free to anyone that wants to enjoy the day being online with others who share your interest in the markets and just have to ask. So give me a shout and I'll send ya the info......

George Carlin on Age........

IF YOU DON'T READ THIS TO THE VERY END, YOU HAVE LOST A DAY IN YOUR LIFE. AND WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED, DO AS I AM DOING AND SEND IT ON.

George Carlin's Views on Aging

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions.

'How old are you?' 'I'm four and a half!' You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key

You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.

'How old are you?' 'I'm gonna be 16!' You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life .. . You become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!

But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?

You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone.

But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would!

So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSHING 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.

You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!

You get into your 80's and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30 ; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; 'I Was JUST 92.'

Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. 'I'm 100 and a half!'
May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!

HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is..

10.Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

So who is Roger Felton guy

So who is this guy Roger Felton, he did a webinar from a broker and then pops up on a front-end provider doing another webinar, but this time about find divergence signals instead of auto trading. I guess I will have to dig around find out what the deal is about and if they are any disasters left behind...

Congress is not responsible, just those who voted for the bastards.

Come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Jed,
Poor mountainerrt, barely kept his family fed,
Then one day he was shooting at some food,
And up through the mud came a bubblin crude,
(Oil, that is, black gold, texas tea).

Well the first thing you know, Jed thinks he's a millionaire,
But then Congress said, "Hey, get away from there!"
Said Cuba's the only place where drilling ought to be,
So they put him in a truck bound for the penitentiary,
(Jail that is, federal pen, with oil company ceo's)

Well now its time to say goodbye to Jed and all his kin,
They ran out of gas and starved to death, casue Congress did them in,
You're all invited back to this locality,
But only if you're a caribou or you want to plant a tree,
(Don't come back now, ya hear?)

Mark Braun up coming online workshop

I spend at lot of time checking out market gurus and from time to time I have found some clever ones, but in the end, expose them for what they are. All based on their own facts, deeds and so on.

Also from time to time, I have found someone that wants to help, wants to share good solid information about their little corner of the world and I also like to talk about them. It's not all about BSski on these fakers out there. I have known Mark for several years, and he has worked hard to understand how fibonacci levels can be applied to trading the markets. He takes his time and explains, again and again until the person gets it. Now that is not saying that everyone will get it, but Mark will go that extra mile....day after day after day.

It was in fact, myself that found Mark and convinced both FibonacciTrader.com and Mark that they would be a great match. Mr. Krausz had passed away suddenly and for a year or so, I filled in doing FT workshops. I never wanted to be a guru, I just loved to share my passion for trading to anyone that would listen....and still do.

Mark is having his first online workshop over in Trading Rooms Academy and I think the link is http://www.tradingrooms.com/tracademy/default.aspx you can click on the title to this update to be thrown over there. Mark's workshop will be on July 6 to the July 11th......WOW...and I thought three days was long for a workshop.....:)

He will also be doing a thing on Monday the 30th, and you check out the details at:

http://www.mjbraun.net/Workshop.htm

If you ever wanted to understand Fibonacci relationship in both time and price and how you can combine your secret stuff and improve your trading....then this is the place to obtain that information without fear of it being just a sales job on you.

I don't recommend a lot of people out there.....LBR for advanced study, Larry Williams for newbies and Van Tharp for money management, but Mark is solid.

SO I took stock in my life and got it down to four things.

I sat down the other night and did an inventory of my life, at this point, it now comes down to just four things. I thought it was going to be five, but can't remember the last one......oh well!!

Hey Kenny, check this out dude

Since both SFO magazine and PFG brokerage house is promoting this webinar, I think it would be a good time for the folks over at the WoodiesCCIClub.com to attend it. I even believe that I might just send them an email alerting them to this broadcast.

That way they could get both the "FACTS and the "FICTION" of automated systems, since they seem to be having a hard time with the one they have been promoting the past year or so. The webinar will cover topics like....Entries, Exits, stop management, "momentum" and volume exhaustion. That momentum thing is right up their.......alley so to speak.

Hope you can join in there Kenny.

RED ALERT....RED ALERT....REALERT...
A 3 DAY EDUCATIONAL TRADING WORKSHOP IN THE HILLS OF TENNESSEE complete with a day of "live" trading!!!!!!!!
MAY 31st to the JUNE 2nd.......Ya'll Come Now...HEAR!!!!!!!

DETAILS.........

SATURDAY: October 4th
7:45am Breakfast is served at the Pancake Pantry starting a 7:45am, you can't come to Gatlinburg without enjoying some East Tennessee pancakes.......it's located at Pancake Pantry 628 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 865-436-4724 again any desk clerk can give you directions.....this will end at 8:45am so we can get to the house for the workshop......

9:30am Money Management and we will start out with what I believe is the most important part of any workshop...and that is money management. But this part is also about having problems, fears, depression and so on. Getting out of a slump and how. About believing in yourself and not in some market guru. And how to design a money management system for "your" trading style and then how to monitor it for the best overall results.....there will be a new twist this time around…..:)

11:30am The "first bar trade" and all the details fit to print.....which ones to avoid, which ones to take and how to manage it......also the three bar reversal and how to manage that one......rules rules and all the rules....along with questions and answers....

12:00...High Noon LUNCH...... Lunch will be from McAllister's Deli....I personally don't like to go to workshop and seminars and the food is something you can't spell or pronounce. So we will have all the fixins to make a great sandwich....some potato salad or cole slaw, a nice garden salad and mixed fruit and a dessert for those who didn't eat salad.....ROTFL.........if you have any special needs please let us know so my daughters will be able to have it for you........

1:00pm... How to find a good stocks to buy or a really bad stocks to short. We will examine several sources of "tips". These "tips" have for a number of reason popped up on the radar screens and instead of just throwing good money at them, we will begin to sort thru the noise and find the ones to consider for a trade. These stocks can be swing traded (3-10 days) or long term (30 to 180 days). Also these stocks can be traded without having to sit in front of the computer all way beating yourself up. Enter the order, and if triggered have a profit target and risk tolerance already loaded in.........

3:30pm...Defining a trend using indicators..... this part of the workshop should be the most interesting as we start to build a trading plan. How many indicators do you need, which ones, what time frame is best and on and on. So, this week I will be snapping charts as the week unfolds and these charts will be used for the workshop, no using charts from 3 years ago that worked perfectly. But rather charts from the unknown at this point in time. It would be a good idea then, as the week unfolds to take notes about problems you are having so we can talk about them since we will be working off the same page.....that is the 9 minute, 3 minute and the 144 tick charts of the ER. But we will define a trend and then define a pullback in the direction of the trend and then even go so far as to define a COUNTER TREND SETUP and when it's safe to actually take that one......

I expect this to go into Sunday also.......since we will be ending up for the day around 5:00pm....

BREAKS: Anyone that knows me knows I could talk about trading long after the cows come home, so we will take breaks when I see that more then 4 people are either praying or taking a nap....about 10-15 minutes so we can all walk around and take a potty break.

6:00pm....DINNER.....Instead of having a dinner on Saturday night like we have in the past, everyone can stay around drink the rest of the beer and finish eatin whatever is left over from the Oktoberfest.......but you can also bunch up and enjoy the City of Gatlinburg and network.......which is a major part of this.....

SUNDAY Ocotber 5th
7:45am Breakfast is served at the Pancake Pantry starting a 7:45am, you can't come to Gatlinburg without enjoying some East Tennessee pancakes.......it's located at Pancake Pantry 628 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 865-436-4724 again any desk clerk can give you directions.....this will end at 8:45am so we can get to the house for the workshop......

9:30am......Defining a trend using indicators...not sure where we will leave off from yesterday but wherever it is this is where we will pickup on......this part of the workshop is to explore how to develop a trading plan, back test it, keep records or a log, and find out if it's just more noise or something of value. How many indicators do you need, which ones talk the talk and which ones don't walk the walk. By the time we are done with the second part of this you will be ready for the magic.

11:30am.....Market internals.....With 3 case studies in the manuals, two of them for an entire week we start to bring together the natural rhythm, the indicator and the internals. 8 conditions and what they mean and when it's just BSski or noise. Could you trade with just fib levels and the internals? Could you trade with just the internals......WOW!!!! We'll see, but the manual is jammed full of examples.

12:00...High Noon LUNCH
...... Lunch will be from McAllister's Deli again ....I personally don't like to go to workshop and seminars and the food is something you can't spell or pronounce. So we will have fruit, and all the fixins to make a great sandwich....some potato salad or cole slaw, a nice garden salad and mixed fruit and a dessert for those who didn't eat salad.....ROTFL.........if you have any special needs please let us know so my daughters will be able to have it for you........

1:00pm......Market Internals......after a nice lunch and before you fall totally asleep we will finish up with the market internals. I know before anyone says anything that this should bring out at least a hundred thousand questions.......so part of this segment will be how to go thru your charts at home and what you need to do so you can it from across the room and under your desk.

3:00pm......Pulling it all together
and defining what we are going to trade....Now that we have the natural order of the market under our belts, and have talked a defined way to look at trend, the pullback, the setup, the trigger, and how to manage the trade we will put a trading plan in writing.....

4:00pm .....The final answer time.....This will be where you can answer questions about, options, bonds, rice, banana puddin or whatever and if I know the answer I will tell ya, if I don't I will tell you that also. But maybe someone else knows the answer and that would be just great if they shared their ideas......

5:00pm.....YOU ARE OUT OF HERE BABY.....This will be around the time we will end for the day and dinner is on your own, hopefully you have made friends with some other guys or couples and will go out to dinner and enjoy the evening busting on each other.....most likely it will be about the workshop so far, but that's OK TOO!!!

MONDAY Ocotber 6th
7:45am Breakfast is served at the Pancake Pantry starting a 7:45am, you can't come to Gatlinburg without enjoying some East Tennessee pancakes.......it's located at Pancake Pantry 628 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 865-436-4724 again any desk clerk can give you directions.....this will end at 8:45am so we can get to the house for the workshop......

9:00am to 9:30am Before I start trading for the day, three representatives from 3 local charities will be at the house, The ASPCA, The Boys and Girls Boys of Gatlinburg and the Good Shepard Clinic. I promised back aways to have a Trade-a-Long at the house once it was finished for my trading buddies, and I will fulfill that promise. As part of this workshop, there is no fee, no BSski to buy, no subscription to sign up for....nothing. But when you get something for nothing, what value does it have in the end......NONE. So, it will be between you and your soul as to what amount you give to these charities, it doesn't matter to me as I don't have to be there when you look into the mirror each morning.........now do I?

9:30am to 4:30pm TRADING BABY TRADING......I will be trading live, real money, most likely a 20 lot unless it turns into a trend day and then there are no limits. While in a trade, or when I see a setup coming, I will talk about it, talk thru it, not around it. There won't be any question or answer period until I say, "Anyone have a question NOW????? " People always want to come and sit next to me and watch me trade and this is your opportunity to do just that. But money is money and BSski is BSski and I take no prisoners....NONE.

4:30pm... the final answer...... I think by the time we are done for the day everyone will be spent, but I will have a follow up on questions about whatever. Hopefully as the day unfolds and I am walking around talking to myself most of the questions will be answered.....but you will have 30 minutes to an hour and then it's over, pack up the balloons and head to the airport as I get ready for the next event on Thursday...as United Way fund raiser for 800.........it's Oktoberfest in TENNNESSEEEeeeeeeeeeee.........
