They are still working on the front porch as they nailed the 1x6 tongue and groove boards........4 nails in each rafter.....
It's starting of take shape, but I'm keeping an eye out for missed shot nails.
The final step on the front porch is connecting the main entrance porch with the servant entry roof......these rafters were miss ordered a couple of months ago and worked out just fine.......nice to be lucky once in the while....
The cutters are waiting for the framers to give them some measurements......and they are still talking about what to do first......
Ok, now that they have talked it over, measured it, talked some more and actually got a string out......it's time to cover this puppy....
We spent the weekends cleaning and getting ready for the next week moving materials in place.....it never ends as we are going thru a dumpster a week.....AT LEAST!!!!!
With the tarr paper on, it's looking pretty good....
The electricians installed the boxes for the lights later......and all we need to do is clean up the posts and beams....
