Odds and Ends

An arched stainless steel whirlpool was moved into the house and up to the fourth floor so the plumber could play, he is in the middle and actually got a picture of him working.....

I saw this whirlpool in some trade rag about a year ago and the great thing about the internet is....if you take the time you can find anything.....including a stainless steel arched whirlpool tub, with built in heaters......

Yes, this is a real vault door from the Fort Knox Vault Door Company, it has a fire rating of 1680 degrees for 90 minutes and can't be drilled......now I was not on property when they moved this puppy but I know 8 guys couldn't carry it. After turning it on it's side, they used a dolly to roll it into the house and install it.

A roof had to be built over the breakfast area, so the work continues outside along with the inside as 29-35 people are working from 7:00 to 10:00pm to get this dang thing done....

The first things was to make sure the roof plate was low enough so when it is ready to put the copper roof on, it fits tight.

I really hate to see these guys leaning out of the edge at times, as you can see they are not exactly on the ground here.

Ollie bits are screwed into the beams to secure the rafters tails, most of these pieces were left over from different parts of the house so we only had to buy a few things to complete the roof....
