Flex pipe or rigid pipe that is the question......

There are two types of pipes that can be run to provide the heating and air conditioning in a house.....flex or rigid.....cheap or how much again? Rigid pipes cost more but have less problems down the road.....and provide a better air flow....

After putting the pipe together, they painted it with this stuff....like oatmeal and tooth paste rolled into one......and then they rapped each pipe.

They filled the kitchen and breakfast area with boxes and boxes of joints, bends, pipe and a bunch of other stuff........hehe

The two guys would measure the length of the run, come back to their staging area and assemble the pieces and then installed then....

One fellow would climb into the ceiling while the other would hand up this and that, more tape, more paste, screw guns....

As the roofer were roofin, and the guys were working on the octagon, the pipe layers were laying miles and miles of pipe....I think they talked to the rest of the trades....

While the rest worked on the assignments, the contractor was working with the timber frame engineer for the front porch....yes we actually use plans.....ROTFL.

The house will have 8 heat and air units, 6 outside and 2 in the attic because the house is divided into zones with 2 units on each floor, 16,512 feet is a lot of heat or cool down.
