Try to Remember

Just some thoughts.......

It hard at times for me to remember things, where I put my car keys, birthdays and anniversaries, people's name and so on, but I am sure we all this problem, no matter how old we are. As time passes, it is hard at times to remember events and we forget about people that once was an important part of our lives, it seems. But today, it's important that we remember those who have given their lives so that we can have the freedoms we do.

Fantasticks was on Broadway for over 4 decades with 17,162 performances at the Sullivan Playhouse, you might not remember the play but one of the songs you will .....Try to Remember:

Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow.
Try to remember and if you remember
then follow
follow.

Try to remember when life was so tender
When noone wept except the willow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When dreams were kept beside your pillow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When love was an ember about to billow.
Try to remember and if you remember
then follow
follow.

Deep in December it's nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Without a hurt the heart will hollow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
The fire of September that made you mellow.
Deep in December our hearts should remember and follow
follow.

Since 9/11 this song seems to have more weight then ever......

One of the last things that even Jesus talked about was....Remembarnce
“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

So today, it is very important that we remember those who have gone before us, and have given us a free and open society to enjoy our lives, our family and friends...God Bless Everyone...

Bruce Landis, Terry Hench, David Kline, Stephen Corbin, Robert Wade, Steven Long, Rusty Miller, Chuck Donnelly, Billy Suiter, and Robby Nelma...I will also remember .....until we meet again.

Dennis------Your bunyonesque appearance and blustery spirit belie the tenderness and charity in your heart. God bless America and those that do.

Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends[and country]. Jesus

...and thanks for being a constant reminder for all to Keep It Real.

REMEMBER THEM TOO THE VALIANT PEOPLES OF IRAQ Grenada,Chile,Venezuela,EL Salvador ,Cuba,Palestine,VIETNAM THE LIST IS ENDLESS FIGHTING RESISTING THE TERRORIST OR FREEDOM FIGHTER AND IF Jesus WAS HERE WE WOULD KNOW WHOSE SIDE HE WOULD BE MARCHING WITH.
Today should not be viewed as your right to be free BUT HOW MANY WAS KILLED IN PURSUIT OF EXSTINGIUSHING ANOTHERS CANDLE Your right to be free was won when the right of Native Americans was NEARLY extinguished AND NO IRAQI HAS EVER THREATENED YOUR RIGHT TO BE FREE INSTEAD THEY WERE JUST AS EAGER CONSUMERS OF MICHAEL JORDAN FOOTWARE , MTV!

i'm tired of reading the lies about the vietnam war. please read the 'geneva accords' which dragged us into that war and see who signed on.
the native american indians are doing just fine now. it was the native american native leadership that sold their own people down the road for weapons to make war on themselves, alcohol and beads.
and iraq was funding and filtering country for every terrorist in the world while their benevolent dictator was murdering, raping and torturing his own people.
give it rest. the USA is the last and only hope for this world.
