When I started the TradersParadise room in Hotcomm on relay, the idea was for people to come together and share their trading style in an true and open forum. If someone wanted to share something about the MACD, Elliot Wave, RSI or their support/resistance ideas....everyone in the room would respect those ideas even if they did not agree with them.
The true purpose of the room was to help traders find answers that would work for them....little things that might change their bottom line. It was never meant to be "MY" chatroom...with just "MY" ideas.....and all that. Now, some people back then did slandered, called me out, bitched at me and said I was on some ego trip. But as time has passed those in the chatroom have come to see that ...yes indeed it is any open and free chatroom. No one gets kicked out or banned because they use whatever to trade....only if they are not respectful to others.
I would love to have DrBob, Verus, Dharma, Kiwi, Croc, Dloomis, KenC, MoneyPenny, Busa, Ricky, Hoot come on join us in the room. I understand their desire to help others....it's built into them. They enjoy sharing, teaching, and expanding their own wings with others as I also do. Anyone can moderator for a day, half day or just until they have shown their idea......and without fear, for over 200 years men and women have died so you can enjoy that right.....to live in a free and open society with something called "The First Amendment"......maybe when the brown shirts read this...and they will, they might read up on it, IT'S an interesting idea.
So come and join us, and together we can built a community, an extented family...but not a "cult."

Obviously it would make sense to have just 1 chatroom for all of us, but that's not the way it is at the moment. I would love to see the rooms of the free traders merge in one room. But until this happens I will be in "Our FuturesTrading Room" in Paltalk and in Sport's "TradersParadise"
Sport is right on this one. It would be nice to see a solid group of diverse dedicated full time traders come together in one room. Moderating for half a day or more is likely to be tough for someone trading to pay bills. An open mic free for all could be an interesting approach. Idea cross-polination can be unproductive for new traders but would probably be of interest to more experienced traders. Could become a potent room. Maybe we'll see a phoenix rise out of these ashes yet...
I think after being freed of Woodie's shackles, the natural instinct is to stretch out a bit and not get prematurely hogtied into another big group thing. For better or worse, Woodie's iron fist approach does keep his version of order in HIS room. Without that order, is it possible for all these different types of traders to come together again? What's the tie that binds? Everyone's a Woodie outcast and everyone's a better human being than Woodie. I'm all for a single new room, too. But that's just me being selfish. I have trouble following multiple charts, so there's no way I'm going to have multiple chats open. These guys will have to get together if it's to be done. Dennis has extended his hand. Personally, I think PT is a better option than HC for such a room. No updating charts, but also no HC snoops. HC is obviously in cahoots with Woodie. You can't even have a PM without the contents conceivably being leaked back to Woodie. I don't think anyone should give money to the criminals at HC again.
