The final home game and it's against those GATORS
The arena had 24,047 screaming fans on Tuesday night as the UF Gators came to town for the last home game. The arena will be having a face lift starting March 6th but will be ready for the next home opener....the boys in plaid were ready!!!
Peyton was on hand tonight also and spoke to the team before the game about reaching the level you want to be at. "After all these years", he said, "I believe I have personally found the answer on how to obtain my goals and there are that you have to believe in and have trust in the people around you." "No matter, if they are on the defense, offense or special teams, you have to place your trust in them." "Trust each other tonight and reach your goals!!!!"
It was also senior night and Bradshaw is the only one that won't be back next year...as the 24,000 fans stood and cheered he made the final walk......
When the team finally came on the floor to play, they made their way thru the student section and the place went nuts...and everyone sang Rocky Top to the top of their lungs....
During a media timeout, as the Spirt Squad of dancers came out on the floor to do their thing there was something different and suddenly Pat came out of the squad and started singing Rocky Top....it didn't take the fans long to join in and the place just rocked. Pat was a cheerleader along with being a basketball player for UT in her younger days......
As the assistant coaches held Pat up the crowd just continued to sing and jump in the their seats....ESPN didn't go to commercial but stayed around to watch this moment in time.....it was just unreal...it really was
Somewhere between Peyton, Coach Fulmer and Pat a basketball game broke out and the UT boys had a 17-0 run against the number 4 Gators. Passing and trusting their other player put the gator in a state of shock for about 15 minutes.
Lofton was waiting for the ball to get back to Gator end as the students let it be known that UT was back and it wasn't going to be a good night for the Gators.
Bradshaw had a great final game......at least at home that is.....March is here baby and it's tournement time in Tennesseeeeeeeeeee.
AS Smoky pointed to the exit door.....and Gator were just bait tonight as UT won by 10.....WHAT AN EVENING!!!!!!!
The new trading desk starts to come to life.......
I had an idea to take old barn boards and clue them up and make raised panels for my office door and make the trim out of solid cherry....so we looked them over, talked about it and it wasn't long before we had a sample.......nice....very nice.
They built the entire office onsite, each of the cabinets was made out of birch and trimmed out with cherry. The desk tops are also made with old barn boards on the outside edge and then inlaided with cherry while being mixed with leather. I liked the look so much we even used the bark in the great room. The desk is built as a trading desk with all the toy hookups and T-1 line and yada yada.

When Washington met Hollywood
When Washington met Hollywood
The Academy Awards wasn’t the only event that took place in Hollywood this past weekend. Some highlights of the ‘other event’:
HRC2008.com came with her posse – you know State Sens.Robert Ford and Darrell Jackson of South Carolina. She was all smiles - admiring the bling on Ludicrius & 50 Cent - until Missy Elliott joined them. Our source tells us, Hill’s panties got in a bunch when Missy Elliott commented on Hill’s pantsuit looking pretty hip-hop, reminded her of the 70s Soul Train TV show.
Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson said that Senator Obama should not only denounce the remark but donate all his Missy Elliott CDs to charity. A source from the Obama campaign, who requested anonymity said,” if they want to get down and dirty, we may have to bring out the hot pants and white boots photo from the 60s Hullabaloo TV show.”
‘I’m Al Gore, and I’ll have a blimp in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’ - drinking a mai tai with a save the Rainforest umbrella, muttering to himself, “I’m Al Gore, and I could be the next mayor of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.”
Dennis Kucinich & John Edwards nearly came to blows - Edwards not realizing he was talking to Kucinich said, if was elected President, universal health care would be available to everyone including busboys like him.Forunately, Reese Witherspoon was able to get between them.
Christopher Dodd – looking proud as an endangered peacock with a -‘Save the Whales’, button given to him by Robin Williams - obviously didn’t see the fine print,‘especially the ones from the Nutmeg State.’
Mel Gibson drinking non-alcoholic Manishevitz with Senator Ted Kennedy - sipping wine from a decanter - were huddled in a corner. Mel talking Aramaic to Teddy, who seemed to understand, claimed he was totally reformed and was supporting that fine Jewish gentleman from Delaware, Joe Biden.
90 year old Hungarian Bombshell (the visual gives you the shakes) Zsa Zsa Gabor could not attend - husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt was there in her place. When, he told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi - he thought he was her father - she gave him the gavel with,”Hey pops go change your dirty adult diaper and maybe we’ll talk when you’re a king.”
Governor Bill Richardson of Arizona told Tom Hanks, Al Sharpton (no relation to Zsa Zsa’s husband) and Matt Dillon he would be willing to take a DNA test to prove he was not a descendant of Lou Costello, if it meant getting more of the Hispanic vote.
Campaign strategist, Bud Abbott 111 had no comment.
David Geffen - showing off his shampoo and conditioner souvenirs from the Lincoln bedroom to Senator John Kerry. He was brought to tears when Geffen showed him a shoe shine cloth with the White House Seal on it.
Congressmen John Murtha (D-PA.) and William Jefferson (D-LA) - by the buffet table stuffing their pockets with ‘pigs in a blanket’ - Murtha was overheard saying,” I hope no one is You tubing this. “A spokesman for Jefferson said his freezer was getting empty.
Senator Barack Obama - getting an earful of advice from Michael Richards -telling him the White House is in a good hood and would make a fine crib for him and all his relatives and that Jackie Chiles would make a fine Attorney General in his administration. When Obama reminded him that Chiles was a character in Seinfeld, Richards ranted –“that’s my point, you people think you know everything”. He was escorted out of the room by Jimmie Dy-No-Mite Walker, screaming, “Doesn’t it count that I’ve got the CD Christmas Collection of James Brown!”
Brittany Spears wandering around in a daze -“where’s Paris, where’s Paris?” Senator Robert C. Byrd from West Virginia with a lip lock gaze put his tender frail arm around her waist, squeezed gently, looked into her eyes and whispered in her ear, “My dear, Paris is in France, it’s the capital.” Brittany kicked his walker leaving the poor old Byrd flat on his face as she sang, ‘Oops!... I Did It Again’ - an American Idol moment.
Cigar smoking Bill Clinton talking with actress Ellen Pompeo(she in a red dress) the intern in Grey’s Anatomy (oh no déjà vu, all over again).Warren Beatty stepped in to warn Wild Bill, that Hill was in the room.
A spokesman for Clinton, said he wasn’t even at the event, “it must have been someone from Saturday Night Live.”
The evening ended with Barbara Streisand singing her rendition of, ‘America we are Beautiful.’

Simple solutions........
Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use. The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down.
Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border. When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq. Tell him if he wants to come to the U.S. then he must serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it. After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot. This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves. If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo. Problem solved.

Daytrading without the CCI....it can be done!!!!
So again at 9:30 we are faced with butterflies in our stomach as the trading day opens...will I make money today.....can I be the cat? Will I lose money today and be the mouse? I know one thing is for sure, I am not interested in being everyones piece of cheese, I know I have some ideas for this dang "first bar trade" but I'm still working on the fine tuning to fix me......not GB and not even the PianoMon.
So this morning the first bar breakout was to the long side and it wasn't long before point "A" came....to manage the trade. Do I take it all off, do I take some off and adjust the stop or do I just adjust the stop? Questions for sure that I need to answer for myself.
So let's look at the idea of taking some off, moving to BE for now. At point "B" is a measured pullback based on the stoch...RIGHT? So when the price moves higher the stoch should follow ...RIGHT? When the stoch gets to overbought at point "C", could I then move my stop up under the pivot at point "B"? And keep doing this until I get stopped out?
The questions today is point "D" and the reason is.....the stoch didn't reach the oversold area or below the value of 10, is that a valid spot to manage the trade or should I wait until it actually does recycle back into the oversold area a little later to adjust my stop............questions for those who like to do research and find their own holy grail.....
I can't force you and no one else should either, just plot the last 100 days and see for yourself and this process will help build confidence and also maybe....just maybe you will find your holy grail and that would be SOOOooooooo COOOL!!!!

The Joy of Being Retired!!!!!
Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day I went Downtown and went into a shop. I was only in there for about 5 minutes and when I came out and there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
I Went up to him and said, "Come on, man, how about giving a retired Person a break"? He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I Called him a "Nazi." He glared at me and started writing another Ticket for having worn tires. So I called him a "doughnut eating Gestapo." He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started
writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote. Personally, I didn't care.
I came downtown on the bus and the Car that he was putting the tickets was a car that had a bumper sticker that said "Hillary in '08." I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm Retired. It's important to my health.

Did you know???
1. How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the tomb of the Unknowns and why?
Answer: 21 steps. It alludes to the twenty-one gun salute, which is the highest honor given any military or foreign dignitary.
2. How long does he hesitate after his about face to begin his return walk and why?
Answer: 21 seconds for the same reason as answer number 1
3. Why are his gloves wet?
Answer: His gloves are moistened to prevent his losing his grip on the rifle.
4. Does he carry his rifle on the same shoulder all the time and if not, why not?
Answer: He carries the rifle on the shoulder away from the tomb. After his march across the path, he executes an about face and moves the rifle to the outside shoulder.
5. How often are the guards changed?
Answer: Guards are changed every thirty minutes, twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year.
6. What are the physical traits of the guard limited to?
Answer: For a person to apply for guard duty at the tomb, he must be between 5' 10" and 6' 2" tall and his waist size cannot exceed 30." Other requirements of the Guard: They must commit 2 years of life to guard the tomb, live in a barracks under the tomb, and cannot drink any alcohol on or off duty for the rest of their lives. They cannot swear in public for the rest of their lives and cannot disgrace the uniform {fighting} or the tomb in any way. After two years, the guard is given a wreath pin that is worn on their lapel signifying they served as guard of the tomb. There are only 400 presently worn. The guard must obey these rules for the rest of their lives or give up the wreath pin.
The shoes are specially made with very thick soles to keep the heat and cold from their feet. There are metal heel plates that extend to the top of the shoe in order to make the loud click as they come to a halt. There are no wrinkles, folds or lint on the uniform. Guards dress for duty in front of a full-length mirror.
The first six months of duty a guard cannot talk to anyone, nor watch TV. All off duty time is spent studying the 175 notable people laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery . A guard must memorize who they are and where they are interred. Among the notables are: President Taft, Joe E. Lewis {the boxer} and Medal of Honor winner Audie Murphy, {the most decorated soldier of WWII} of Hollywood fame.Every guard spends five hours a day getting his uniforms ready for guard duty.
ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM. In 2003 as Hurricane Isabelle was approaching Washington , DC , our US Senate/House took 2 days off with anticipation of the storm. On the ABC evening news, it was reported that because of the dangers from thehurricane, the military members assigned the duty of guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier were given permission to suspend the assignment. They respectfully declined the offer, "No way, Sir!" Soaked to the skin, marching in the pelting rain of a tropical storm, they said that guarding the Tomb was not just an assignment, it was the highest honor that can be afforded to a serviceperson. The tomb has been patrolled continuously,
24/7, since 1930.

Daytrading and knowing when to holdem......
Well the first bar today was a BE at the best....and that if you were fast and had enough coffee to keep you eye lids open. Just as soon as the trigger was available it was only 3 70 ticks bars, which is no time at all, before you had take action if you like to take half off and move to BE. No sooner then you would have moved to BE, it would have been hit......and that is in a perfect world.
But the good news is, the third bar reversal again would have saved your bacon and actually gave you a very nice trade if you use the idea of waiting for your indicator to go oversold and then the high of the last bar to trail the stop.....
Now for those cowboys who just like to watch an indicator and play texas hold'em, the first Vegas trade setup without using price was a kiss of death.....I know the second one was nice.......but with using price you could have reduced your losers by one........or to none.....WOW.....

Woodies CCI Club and the chess game
Back in 2003, man that was a long time ago, when I found that now world famous guru that invented the CCI......Ok.....read a few magazine articles, renamed a few ways to use the CCI, developed an internet business plan and the rest is history. From that came a few spin offs....Teddy for one, Gio and JeanYus for two, DrBob for a third one and the latest is TW....well the real latest I hear is Finn....but I guess that is another story, now isn't it?
Each were dismissed for a number of reasons....Ok, they were kicked out, banned and delete-b-goned forever, but I guess that is another story, now isn't it? Each have there own way of trading with the indicator that was never promoted until "that" business came to light. I mean the MACD has been beatin to death, the RSI, Stoch, ema and Bollinger Bands have been talked about and written about forever. Even longer then the Idiot Wave it seems, but there are problems,....for sure!!!!
Just take today, and you can check this out for any day you want....it's about the same. The chart on the left is the CCI set to 50/6 and the chart on the right is the classic 14/6 all on a 3 minute chart. The reason the 50 came to light was that everyone was getting killed using the 14, so they wanted a longer look back and the 50 seemed to work just fine .....thank you. Now I see that instead of using the 3 minute time frame most have moved out to the 5 minute time frame....well except Woodie who uses the 4 minute in order to be ahead of the world, Remember him taking about using the 29 minute to front run the 30 minute crowd.....now that is just plain funny stuff and you don't have to make it up either is another funny part, but that is another story, now isn't it?
The 50 CCI had a ZLR around 9:52 for a short, the turbo went down just like it should and all that......but the price managed to pop up....around 10:27 you had another one of those little ZLR's and again the turbo moved down and price just hung there for an amazing 4 bars or 12 minutes of you watching the turbo do it's thing and your trade just sitting there....oh I know it dropped a HUGE 8 ticks.....before it flew back in your face.....
The 14 CCI had a ZLR, but the CCI itself at that moment was just at the zero line, so close call if you are at the front of the boat and leaning over the bow with your finger on the mouse.....if you are at the back of the boat it was easy, oh oh...that one wouldn't have worked because YADA YADA YADA ..... The CCI then went 6 bars above zero while the turbo was working on a ZLR for a long trade....Again a small pop up and it stalled while the 50 CCI ZLR followers were getting ready to short......
A chess game for sure, which time frame works the best?
Which setting is the best?
Which one of the 27 CCI setup should I actually trade?
on and on it goes......where it stops no one knows......I do know one thing that is for sure and it's simple folks. The reason that the Woodshed never wanted price bar to be seen is simple...that is called re-broadcasting data, which is illegal. What if someone actually had 300, 500 or even a thousand people watching the same chart and was using that chart to trade off of.....eSignal, Aspen, Qcharts or whoever would suffer lost of revenue and it doesn't take a Memphis CPA or an attorney long to figure that one out.....so it's illegal, call them and ask.
So the business plan called for the idea that "YOU" didn't need price to trade, that price actually caused you to have fear and greed and whatever,...blah, blah, blah and people bought into it....hook, line, sink and their trading accounts. What I know is, using just a simple rule.....
If I have a short setup....it has to occur on a certain bar, RIGHT??? "If" I believe based on my toys that the market is heading lower, then one thing HAS TO HAPPEN....the price has to go down, is that simple or what???
So, if I take my setup bar.....and would only consider taking that short if the low of the setup is taken out without taking out the high......WOULD THAT SAVE MY BACON OR NOT????????? Well, today it would have saved it on the first 50 CCI ZLR for sure......and I have cut my losing trade by A THIRD........think about it, check it out, test it....and see for yourself. Otherwise, you are not playing chess, you are playing Russian roulette.....

So you what to build the perfect bar...where to start???
SO I wanted a bar in the sports area that would blow anyone away.....not just have them go.....NICE.....COOL.....but HOLY WOW. So the first step was to go and hand pick out an oak log that would do the job. A 3 hour ride, in a U-Haul, of all things and walking around the yard at the mill.....there she was. Miss Oak 2006, she was a beauty, 16 foot long and 42 inches about her butt with just enough twists and turns to make her interesting. After I rubbed her a while, I told the yard foreman, I'll take this one and the rest is history.......

Daytrading and finding something that works.....
Well, of course I have popped up the CCI which has a setting of 50 and the turbo at 6, this is what I really use to trade with......for the past 4 years, nothing new....no latest greatest yada yada yada. Looking at the 3m chart on the left we have what is called a "hook from extreme", which just means the CCI(50) is above the 200 level. One might think they could just short this puppy and clean up, well I only hope you do some research before jumping on this bandwagon. Those who proclaim to trade without price and just by using a lagging indicator you can predict where the market is going will get run over from this idea. But I wonder, if using price to confirm this extreme condition could improve their odds????
Never the less, when the first bar is printed and it takes out the high without taking out the low....I would look to buy this market, now you have to decide if you need to wait until the close of the second bar or if you can just lean into it. By using a double smooth stoch, when it goes to overbought I would take some off move to BE and start praying that this thing runs...which it does about twice a month.
But what if you wanted to find some way of hanging on.....well when the stoch gets to "A" and you should take some action...either by covering half or just moving a stop in tighter, what if you used the last cycle low of the stoch to move the stop under the last pivot....point "B" for those who need a road map...:). Then each time the stoch cycled down...point "C" and point "D"...would this idea help to make more profit or help to reduce your risk in an orderly manner. There are several ways to skin this cat......so let's explore them over the next several days........
Now before we get started, there is "NO" right way to do this..."NO" holy grail....just what can I do to make this work for me and trade it "MY WAY"....
Happy Valentines Day......love ya mon
Be my valentine.....

Daytrading and being quick....
I do want to thank Olemikey for turing me onto the third bar breakout, but I only use this idea for a reversal when the first bar trade goes bust. That is what trading is all about....just having a few simple ideas combined with some money management and just keep banging away at it. the first bar trade again to get me into the game instead of playing analyst all morning and once in a while (about twice a month) you find yourself in a trade you might never have gotten and it a big winner. Most days it can get you some money on half and that's it....so be it. Some days the third bar reversal can get it back and make more...some days even this idea will give you a headache as you bang your head on the desk. But that is trading, nothing personal...it's not you against the world....it's just "YOU"
So relax and enjoy Monday......

Woodies CCI Club and nothing more!!!!!
Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Woodies CCI Club and nothing more!!!!!":
Woodie was foaming at the mouth, by stating after the fact, that this trade was called.
He called it the GB100, trend line break. What a liar, and he fooled about 400 newbies in his basic
chat room, and then he ran around to all the other rooms foaming that he had made 70 ticks and what have you all been doing. And then , he started bad mouthing the other rooms as losers. What a liar, and a moron.
Here is the data, typed up the best I could.
02/09/2007 open high low close cci
11.40 816.90 816.00 816.90 -33.76
11:45 817.20 816.70 816.90 30.22
11:50 817.40 816.80 817.30 73.78
11:55 817.60 817.00 817.40 108.39
12.00 817.50 816.80 817.00 73.48 Called GB 100 trade after the fact, trend line break.
12:05 817.20 816.40 817.20 44.27 Took credit for entry on the GB 100 close price
12:10 817.20 816.40 817.20 44.93 Note uptick on cci, plus 6 cci bars above zero, negates GB 100 plus possibility of a zlr, caused many to close their postitions for - 2 ticks at least.
12:15 816.90 816.40 816.70 -18.73 Note this is the 7 th bar, but 6 bars were above zero, meaning there cannot be a gb100, as that pattern requires it must decline before 6 positive bars print !
If this was a true gb100, I would be cheering, but his lying about it, has totally turned me off.
I am unable to post a chart and do not know how, nor would I be allowed to post in this blog, maybe you can post one with the count showing. This was obviously a er2 5 minute chart. Check it out and draw your own conclusions.
Keep up the good work.

Woodies CCI Club and nothing more!!!!!
Woodie lands in the hospital and all of a sudden there is this idea...the 100 Club. A simple idea, you know trade 100 contracts for 100 years. Proceeds go to charity and yada yada yada yada. Now when I talked about this at the Vegas Conference back in December of 2003, while being one of the "insiders" that everyone thought I was WELL, all hell broke loose. I was beat to a pulp, bitched at and harped on ......that was when I started thinking....WHY???
But there it was.....an entity that would be traded for charity by members of the club. Remember Kate, Bonnie and JenAnn well where are they now....just doing laundry I guess.
I have never thought much about dividing people into groups...the have and the have nots...in reality the haves with pm the have not in other chatting service so this idea wouldn't really work.
Not being able to mirror the monkey trade maybe not be a bad thing...WHY?
I don't know about you...but a $11,000 intra day drawdown just doesn't sit well with me.....and to make 13 buck on a average trade seems to have a lot of risk just to make enough money to buy a roast beef, fries and a shake at Arby.....of course, there is a little thing called commissions...but who cares about that.
But the most interesting thing is the max intraday drawdown is $11,065.00 and the account size required to trade is what.........$11,065.00.
Now I might be smoking something that other folks don't enjoy but back where I come from....you just folded your hand at the Texas Hold'n table.
But wait ....Baghdad Bob just made an announcement......we'll change the rules at any time and for any reason and who gives a rats.........what you think!!!!
But somewhere along the day in and day out crapola.....it seems all hell broke loose over this and the "100Club-b-gone" key was used yet again....along with the "TW-b-gone" key and Woodie did the same drill as he did when he kicked DrBob, Gio, JeanYus, Dax, Kiwi, the list of old friends is endless at times......some things stay continue to change and some things just stay the same.........
Daytrading the Futures......interesting week so far
Again and again, except for a couple days here and there it keeps on working and without a thousand dollar guru system.....The question, I had emailed to me was about the stop......should it be at the high of the first bar if the first bar was no greater then 20 ticks or should it be a tick above or even a couple. The first response was and still is.........Hey, sounds like someone is doing RESEARCH, and from that comes answers.

I'm told that there is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing its character many times. A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight. Be sure to scroll down and check out the multiple photos (all angles) of the rock.
I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too

Daytrading and facing reality.........
Today, even my grandmother could have made some money on the first bar trade just looking to fill the small gap. But Monday was fun if you like to trade the first bar, because it was a loser. I have been trading it for years and it was a loser and yes you will have losers if you trade.....and that is just the way it is. But,
do you just sit there like a bump on a log after getting run over or do you just take the idea you have researched and do your best? We have talked about looking at the third bar breakout for a reversal. Monday, that would have been a way to at least get some money back.
Tuesday, we had one of those voided setups, where the first bar high and low was taken out on the next bar. If you waited for the close of the second bar you were again fine....but sometimes in the real world, it been heard that some might just front run the close. Either way, I think you would have been faced with a loser.
Again what do you do now, after two days and having two losers do you dare take the trade today.....I guess it depends if you have done your research and know the number of losers you can except. If you haven't I bet you didn't take it today and for that you deserve just what you got.....NOTHING!!!!!!

So I got this phone call.....Would you like to go an watch the season opener????
The phone rang and it was Scott from UT calling, he asked if I would like to fly down to FLA for the NCAA baseball season opener and then fly over to Gainesville for the UT vs. UF basketball game on Saturday. Of course, I said ......HEY YEA DUDE. As I explained this to my loving wife that I was flying with the "boys" and watch some games, she said, "So, what is "this" going to cost". I replied, " Nothing my love". Then she thought for a moment and smiled and I said, "WHAT????" "Aren't they going to build a new baseball stadium at UT soon?" she asked. I replied by saying that I thought so and with a big smile she told me...."OK, let's see how free this trip is by next year and have a good time with the boys."
So off to the airport I went, wondering, but I went just the same. It took 59 minutes to fly to Tallahassee and only a few minutes to arrive at FSU where we were met with a representative to give us the 35 cent tour. First up was the tour of the football stadium, where Bobby Bowden is standing right out front and 20 feet tall. As those who spend time on this blog know that I have met Mr. Bowden and he is only about 5' 9" on a good day......but that's another story.
The hall inside the entrance just blew me away, 6 stories high with banners from all the sports at FSU, two heisman trophies, two national championships trophies and a host of other major awards from over the years. If you walked over to the left side of the room and looked up you saw the 1993 year they won the championship, but if you walked over the right side you saw the 1999 year in review......it was awesome.
Then the trip into the locker room, where on the end of each set of lockers were display cases holding the last jersey and helmets worn by the legends of the game....Sanders, Biletnikoff, Ward, Dunn, Weinke amoung others. The weight room, medical room and team meeting rooms are great but when we arrived in a room with several display cases.....there was all the rings from every bowl game they played in...including two championship rings.......we ended the tour with a visit out onto the field where dreams do come true.
Then we left for the baseball stadium and past by the cementary, at first I thought....WHAT the heck is this, WELL, when they beat a top 10 team on their turf, they bring back a piece of their turf and bury it..........now that was a interesting idea.
NCAA baseball season opener.....are you ready for some baseball??
The new stadium was the best I have seen and that would include a few pro stadiums, the new scoreboard was prefect for watching replays. The tour included seeing the trophy room and awards for former players. A new rehab and laundry rooms were they can clean everyone uniforms within two hours for both teams. The locker room itself was interesting as they do not allow the players to play cards, video games and other things that might get them ticked off before a game. Each player, of course, has his own locker, but the locker that Sanders used while here is more a shire then anything......a reminder of the past glory. It all ends in Omaha with the NCAA World Series and I thought that was interesting how they tied them together
The fans were just great and glad to see visitors, even if we were the other side....hehe. The press box is all high tech and even the two dug out suites were great to watch the game from just behind the ump. Tennessee lost this game and the next one also but as the coach said....this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon
Once the game was over the ground crew started working on the batters box, replacing the clay with new clay and beating it down with a stomper. By 7pm we were back on the jet and off to Gainesville.....and those darn GATORS~!!!!!!!
It's basketball time in Tennesseeee....I mean Gatorville.
When we landed in Gainesville the Navy was already there getting for an air show this weekend. Saturday morning the team bus was parked outside as we were about to go to a "shoot around" over at the arena. It was a hoot to ride on the team bus and bust on the kids and also spend 15 minutes talking to Bruce. The shoot around wasn't what I thought it would be since they just shot some balls and talked about the tip off. Bruce explained later that .....he didn't believe for a minute...BUT...it could be possible that the cameras around the arena "could be" used to watch any certain drills.......and he all laughed. They were nice enough at UF to also give us a tour of the football stadium. A very nice buffet was setup in the their version of club seating including apple cobbler....my favorite!!!!! The arena at UF is actually divided into four sports.....swimming, gymnastic, track and field and a little basketball.......
Well, it was basketball time as the UT boys ran onto the floor, practiced some shots, were introduced and then it's showtime. It was the Noah and Horford show to say the least.....after watching these fellow play live, I can see why they won a national title...the only word is WOW. The last picture shows what kind of day it was.....it was a slam dunk for the Gators......
If you do remember back UT beat UF twice last year.....and UF ended up taking the whole dance back home to Gainesville.

Daytrading another day...another dessert!!!!
So we have talked about a few ideas and have had a few quesitons....if you have any thoughts or ideas you would like to share about this setup, how to improve it, how to reduce the risk and so on, please feel free to post a comment or two, I would be more then glad to pass them on to others. One question that has been talked about is when to pull the trigger.....if you have to wait for either the high or the low to be taken out.....but if both are taken out on the next bar it voids the setup, then when should you consider leaning into it....
One answer would be in keeping a log of "your" thoughts as they unfold after the open. Second answer to this question to actually wait for the close of the next bar as long as it's not an inside bar and then on the open take the trade. But who can wait that long......after all we are suppose to be daytrading the living crap out of this market RIGHT????? WAIT, but it might run on me???? YES, I will from time to time but that's life in the fast lane.
There could be a theroy out there and most of us have used it to some degree is the gap from yesterday close and look to fill that gap, which on Friday it did. One could also take a close at their favorite indicator, you know the one that only "you" have and has kept your backend out of trouble for the last 25 years. I have plotted the stoch, a double smooothed one, on a 3 minute chart and it was pointing down as the market opened on Friday....could one use this simple idea to lean into a trade early??? These are things that "you" have to play around with and see if you can find your answer of course.
The last one might be just having 8 years of screen time, sitting here everyday, watching, thinking, logging, charting and doing some basic research. It's not about finding the holy grail....you already have it, just use it.

Pass me the Wheaties please......
Last night during the game with South Carolina......they announced that Pat was going to be one of only two people this year to be honored with having their mug on
a Wheaties box. Of course, we also have the PSU Paterno Wheaties box....:)
The game didn't go to well for USC, it took them 8 minutes to score and that was a foul shot....by half time they had managed to pile on another 10 points. By half time 1 starter and 4 secondary players finished them off.......
Candice even got into the act last night, by being the first women to score 1,000 points faster then anyone else at UT....and this is only half way thru her second season.....GOOD GRIEF. We won't even talk about those slam dunks.....
