There has been some posts asking for help to develop the sidewinder into something that can actually make money. And that is all fine and good, but doubt if anyone would trade it correctly even if it was on auto pilot. You know, you would be sitting there watching the markets and thinking .....reading some chat text....watching those 8 time frames and 13 indicators and so on. Suddenly, there would be a audio alert....GO SHORT and you would start to think about if the computer knows what it's doing, is it really a short....."Trader X" just posted a long and others are backing him up.
Today, my first trade of the day, got you into this market before the crowd figured out what the heck was going on.....then a nice ZLR to add some in and so on. The next trade was after three cycles down and didn't work well....I mean what is a couple of ticks on half? Then we had a nice little rally, off a ZLR, according to my rules and again three cycles up and into a big time set of spikes that we talked about this weekend in Denver........then it takes out the last low and the cover.
Auto systems works, but only if you have a trading plan first......and then get someone to program the sucker correctly.....wonder why this system is "NOT" for sale or lease....yep....I wonder why?
Also there is wonder why, some have spent a lot of their time using the back door feature in hotcomm to spy on different chat rooms hoping to understand how, where, why, what and scanning the text....WATCH WHAT YOU POST and WATCH WHAT YOU TYPE...even in a PM.......They are out there watching.

What are the rules for your ZLR, sport?
Don't worry too much. There is no hol grail indicator. Never has never will, no matter if it was a reptilian sidewinder.
I think you guys are missing the point. And that is to remove the 'gimmick' from woodies hands. To do so one would just need to use the code posted, create the indicator and distribute it freely. That way all charting packages can be used by anyone at their own free will without 'worrying' about not having the sidewinder. Makes perfect sense to me. woodie did say that he was going to distribute it free. Did he? No. It seems to me to be an admirable goal that the other blog is making available to traders in the true spirit of traders helping traders.

her tones indicates she is heavily medicated. boring. lifeless. emotionless. cold.
her comments reflect a deep seated anger and distrust for everyone. that one is hard to see but it is very common with paranoid-schizophrenia conditions. listen closely to how much she talks about "other people don't like when i do this" and "some of you don't appreciate that"...
also, she speaks to us in a motherly tone. that is the classic trait that keyed me into her mental condition. it's called the "mother hen" trauma caused by the paranoia.

Very insightful post. I do believe that there is some true emotional patholgy going on there. Her incessant referrals to what others think of what she says strikes of paranoia and a deep seated need to feel worshipped and adulated at some level. This is the perfect fit for her. She can contrive superfluous blather, that can be construed by those who want to believe as truisms and success. Thus perpetuating her persona, filling her emotional void. Also, by being in such a protected enviornment as the woodshed provides, she has the perfect setup. It really is sad...

Since I'm papertrading her setups in a simulator where I can adjust the market time back I won 100%, no one can beat that ! It's a great system.

Hindsight trading is the best! I also like potential set up trading as well. You just never lose with those two systems. Just ask Gio, she has NEVER taken a loss, ever! I just understand why the whole world isn't following her system. It is infallible.
GIO trading system for longs.
Works on a 5 minute chart ! No stoploss needed. For shorts the system needs some adjustments but I will post them when they are ready and fully backtested.
Step1 : at the start of each trading day you need to warm up the time machine;
Step2 : Wait 1 hour
Step3 : Excute following trading system. Good luck everybody.
if currentprice > ( close of 12 bars ago) then
go back 1 hour in time;
buy 100 contracts at bar closing price;
adjust clock back to normal time;
Sell 100 contracts at market;
end;
The funny thing about your ragging on Gio is that the more you rag on her, the more popular she gets. Obviously, all these people don't get your point.

umm, more popular? hehe i wouldn't agree. there was certainly no sign of that today. also, idea that stating facts about her lack of trading skills would make her more popular just falls flat on its face. exact opposite is true actually. we can all see how badly she is doing. i predict she will stop moderating soon. things arn't going well for her and i can't tell you how i know this.

that girl would be angela. she is nice for the most part. i like her even though she always talks about other then trading. one of the mods told me she is learning to trade so she talks to socialize with someone and tries to help when possible. we all do the best we can. i'm learning too. maybe she doesn't have someone in her life. people need people.
