First bar vs Third bar reversal....

Monday was the 6th day in a row that the first bar worked......and you just knew this couldn't go on forever.....could it.

Tuesday, the market opened and the first bar was to the down side by a tick, so when I get stopped out I will go the other direction if the third bar setup triggers that reversal........TWO LOSERS.

Wednesday, the market opened and the first bar was to the up side by a couple of ticks, so when I get stopped out I will go the other direction if the third bar setup triggers that reversal........TWO LOSERS.

Thursday, the market opened and the first bar was to the down side, so when I get stopped out I will go the other direction if the third bar setup triggers that reversal........ONE LOSER.

So after kickin it for just over a week, the first bar and third bar reversal setups were crapola for 5 losers in a row....go figure. By now, most of you would have bought another filter or just plain won't take another setup no matter what....and that is OK.....


Just someday you can't keep you head on straight....can you?

Dirty Debbie is pulling away

This little blog has now moved up on the daily average visit list over the past 30 days and is now the 141st top read blog out there....now that's cool.

Except Dirty Debbie, at 131, is also moving up and faster then tradersparadise and World of Pigs has moved past us. The underwear blog is just behind and gaining but when you think about this blog and the boring stuff here, at least in the view of normal people, and the other blogs around us....well I guess that is pretty good.

With over 59,000 hits in Feb. you guys really like to check up on this blog I can say that for sure......

Are the roofer really laying down on the job?

The roofers are working overtime.....ok.....they are on the job site OK.


The have started the octagon, they also started the left front, they also started the right front, the back right, the left right, the great room ....just hope someday they finish something......


Now I'm not used to crawling around up on a roof...like 60 plus feet above the ground but I double check everything and make sure it's done the way I want....
SO that means....don't look down....PERIOD.


The guys did use a rope....we had a OSHA approved outfits but they decided they liked their rope.


So out he goes to attach the first piece of trim edge....and now that I think about it..I wonder why they didn't offer me a rope.


Ok so back to the back left of the roof and work there for a couple of hours...then it's off the another side...


So we had the amigos replace the turr paper with the high tech stuff that seals itself and is clued to the roof.


OK, so getting around up on the roof gives the guys are good laugh as I crawl from one spot to another to check stuff.

Steve Matrix....and double YAWN

I get emails all day long, we all do. But today was the first time Steve sent out a double dose of his BSski. But hey, for $9.95 you can sign up for the one week trial and what I can't figure out is, since we are on a trial now why would he be sending yet another email and then another email. Marketing must not be talking to Sales is all I can think of.

By the way, we have been trying to track the performance but there are a few problems. For one, it seems trades disappear.......and trades appear without reason.
Something about their auto trader crapola thingie. But you know the drill, did everyone get that shamu back there, boy it was a beauty. They have been using a 15 tick stop with an eight tick profit target......well it doesn't take anyone with less then a 4th grade education, in this business, to know that is a formula for disaster......and they scalp more then any "local" floor I ever met. So if we see them making any real money.....we'll also let you know that.....but don't stay home next to the phone waiting for the call.....

Here is a photo of some damage from the terrible storm that passed through Arizona the other day. Most people stayed home and many schools were not in session as a result of this storm. It really makes you cherish our usual balmy climate, and reminds us not to take life for granted.

Roofers were are you?????

We had to order 84 squares in order to have enough to do the job......this is the first load that came.


The first thing they did was nail down an ice shield and a new kind a tar paper that sticks of the roof and is self sealing so we shouldn't have any rain in the bedroom......nice theroy!!!


Before the crane left for good......we have several pallets set up on the roof to make it easy for the roofers....


So they started.....it only took them three days to get started....but at least they started....remember the Bob Newhart Show, well Larry, Daryl and Daryl are working on the roof....anything for a buck....ROTFL.


One on one side, the other on the other side...the race is on....


Believe it or not, they actually used a rope to hold on......and they had good reason as some days the winds were up around 30 mph.....They were paid by the square but always went home at exactly 4:00pm. The rockers would work until 1:00am but not Daryl and Daryl.....


The trim strips are all made from a thick piece of copper and bent on site, over 600 hundred feet was used on the roof.

How stupid do you think I is!!!!!

There are some people out there that believe we are stupid.....and they must think we are very stupid.....but we ain't, in fact, we have been quietly tracking your moments for quite a while now.....since August in fact.


Since you are using Windows XP with MS Internet Explorer6 and a single monitor set to 1280x1024, 32 bit color setting, I thought it was time to give you a heads up. I don't mind you having this blog open 24/7 for any updates and then giving me crap because I now block them,......it a free country you know and this is my blog.

But I would be very careful about what "you" say, the emails "you" sent out, the PM's you use in hotcomm, because you can take one thing to the bank...and that is just this simple fact. I have the resources to hunt your candy ass down and use the courts to take every fricking thing you ever thought of owning.

Jimsy came into my chat room several times using fake Nicknames, logging in and logging out changing his name and we showed the logs from hotcomm to prove it, including the name Bernice.....shows his class and attitude. Jimsy lives in Canada and is out of our reach, but you SIR, are not. Do you really want the world to know who you are? If so, just let me know.....we are ready dude!!!!!

More windows please.....

Pump jacks are a handy way to work high in the air without messing with a lot of scaffolding.......here are some neat pictures.....


Now to figure out how to crank this thing back down.....

Working to get the window set square to the rest of the vertical ones....might sound easy but when you add the curves....hummmmmmm


They thought I was nuts when I bought 140 sets of scaffolding, but now I is looking a whole lot smarter.


The side windows are ready to go in after the pump jacks are moved over...all custom windows that the salesman measured three times to make sure he had it right after the framing was done....so far so good.


They are working on the roof, they are working on wiring the joint, they are working on the heating and air, they are working on windows and now we are working on the front porch. First we have to frame up and pour the pads for the porch posts.


No cement trucks this time around, but I did buy a portable cement mixer. However, the amigos would sooner mix it by hand because it is faster....go figure.


Back where the guys came from, they are used to mixing it a little thin or tooooo much water. One reason is that because of the heat the concrete dries to fast so they mix it thin and continue to pour water over the top of the forms. This was the hardest part of the process......NO NO just a little water......


The next day, the forms are removed and holes were drilled into the pads so rebar could be inserted for the posts. A silk pad was also placed around the pads so dirt wouldn't mix in with the 57 stone that create a french drain.


The local builder inspector gave it a once over to make sure everything was done to code....it was either that or he is looking for an empty lunch bag to tear up....

First bar trade...now six in a row baby.....

Well, the first bar trade again did it's thing and made us a few bucks. Then we had our secret sauce telling us to buy the market.....SO we had a nice 50 CCI ZLR that triggered for our second trade.....and we talked about it in the TraderHaven chat room on relay7 in hotcomm.com today as it unfolded. But even better then this was a couple other little things.


CB had symmetry, which is my guiding light on her 3m chart.....you can study this idea at her website at http://www.syncmt.com and she would be glad to give ya a free trial.


The best thing about using CB service is the road map she provides, if you let set your indicators to the side and think of market structure......We in the chat room knew the market could get to 740.50-60 but here is the magic.


You see that CB had the same dang number on 3 different time frames....hummmm could there be a clue here.....could there?


Well with the internals spiking at that number...there was several of us that covered there near the high of the day.......


Now I have done several workshops in the past and showed my stuff and gave it out to anyone that had FT......there is a couple that still use it and it's a simple idea....if you have green bars with the secret sauce green and it takes out the last green bar without taking out the low of the last green bar you go long......WELL, it seems to still work.

SIDE NOTE: Today at the high we had a crown pattern I wrote about in Active Trader mag a while back......and it even worked today.....go figure!!!!

Windows anyone......anyone got windows

The windows for the great room were ready to be set, so with the scaffolding all setup on the outside and pump jacks on the inside....we are ready.


Each window was checked to make sure it would fit first...how is that for thinking ahead....with the ropes in place we are ready...I think?


Each window is 49 square feet or less or about 7 feet by 7 feet and weigh in at 840 pounds.


We made sure that the window were tied down in case of any strong winds that could come up quickly or at night before they were installed.


The pump jacks are a handy way of having a work platform when scaffolding can't be used.....we used the pump jacks to help lift the windows up in place.


Outside on the scaffolding they used come-a-longs to help lift the windows and hold them in place during the process....


One by one we lifted them in place and "set" them according to the factory instructions. A tech person came out to make sure the windows and doors were "set" correctly and make any adjustments if they weren't.......we only had two little problems so furr


The crown jewel of the windows in this one......and she is ready to go in place.


By the end of day one......the center line of windows were installed and "set"....now for the other ones.
