There was a time when Tony tried to trade the CCI in the Fall before Vegas 2003. You could tell. He'd get excited when he won and a "that's alright, we'll get them next time" when he lost. But then he found that moderating got in the way of his trading and then the chat window got in the way of his trading and then he thought, maybe, just maybe, cb could straighten him out, well, no, that's not it, and then it's, "I'm too busy right now, Holland wants to buy my multi 6-figure prop plane", and "oh, now the website keeps me too busy", etc. etc.
He's probably got one last master of ceremonies job left in him at that 12-hour London CCI-a-thon and then I guess he's a done deal too. Sure, why not?, let's cram it all in and be done with it so W can do what he really wanted to: have a free trip to London and Paris with the wife for their big anniversary.
W, you just had to go and do it, didn't you. You went and f'ed it all up by bringing in the vendors and getting greedy. And look what happened to you: relationships that took years to forge disintegrated before your very eyes when something inside of you just decided to snap.
Look, I'm sorry famir died. He was a warm, wonderful person and all of us are better off for having known him. But you just got plain mean in your room after he passed away. Shame on you for turning your frustration and anger in on your trading friends. You don't think I can imagine how much his passing hurt you? I really wish famir were around to straighten you out because if anyone could get to you at a personal level, it would probably be him.
W, it really is time for you to back off and fade into the crowd. Turn off the spotlight and go back to your roots of being just another humble trader trying to help others because you've clearly mishandled the responsibility of being a good leader.
Rubbish, most moderators quit because they simply don't want to do a non-paying volunteer job forever, and especially for a select gang of ungrateful people who begrudge any moderator of even the slightest benefit!
Why should any moderator donate their trading time free forever?

There's plenty of Woodie clones attacking the facts but Anon 3:21 nails this one. Woodie got greedy and let his ego corrupt his MAW vision. I have known Woodie since his Paltalk days and I once believed in his sincerity, but he has changed since he started getting the 200 TAL's. I agree with Sport. Where did all that money go? Check out the MAW web site and Woodie is not even listed in the $50K donors for any of the past several years. With 200+ people coming to a TAL at $250 or so, where did all that money go? If Woodie really cares about all those kids he should come clean and make it right. It's disgusting that he is over in Paris soaking people to pay for his anniversary trip. In the archive section under March and April there is stuff about how I trade. That has not changed over the past 8 years...no need to ungrade it every two weeks.
As far as going to the workshop, there will be 4 traders sharing information on how they use the software to trade and there will be actual trading from what is presented during the workshop, no walking around BSski, just trading.
So do what your heart tells you to do, order flow is an important part of the business.
In any other profession you prove yourself and give no airtime to the competition. I understand your problems with how money was handled by woodie - take that up with the authorities. There's no one here who is going to do anything about it anyway.
People here are still desparate to learn. IMO most couldn't care less about woodie anymore. Can we get back to trading? Maybe anon 10:47 had it right - minus the going to woodie part.
Hell, I wouldn't even touch that CCI the way woodie teaches it, but I sure as hell am way beyond spending my life condemning it. As sport says, we need order flow.

As far as the quality of the event, the NJ TAL, that's up to you to decide based on who's attending and willing to offer helpful information. Not just limited to one particular approach. As far as that $250, read the whole page and you'll see a significant difference: "Any excess funds will be returned prorata to attendees."

With over 1000+ people live in the rooms we must all have some respect for Woodie and other moderators.
Before jumping in with both feet listen and learn for at least a week about how we do things in there.
1. Will all new people to Woodie's - CCI Club please keep the questions down to a minimum.
2. Go and research the indicators we use CCI - LSMA - 34EMA - Pivots - Sidewinder.
3. Go and research the patterns we use FAMIR-SHAMU, GHOST, TLB, HFE, ZERO LINE, VEGAS etc.
4. The moderator's are all traders real-time and are willing to answer questions after hours.
5. Please leave all microphones off during trading hours, except for the daily moderator.
6. Please do not post charts or pictures unless there is a good reason and it contributes to the room and you point out the area of interest on the chart, CCI tlb, slingshot, hook, famir, ghost or whatever.
7. Please post questions in text, the daily moderator will answer if and when they are NOT in a trade.
8. We all encourage you to post your trades in and out and if possible why. NO ego's, NO total $ or points.
9. Absolutely NO Soliciting allowed in this room.

The difference is that the money from the NJ TAL will only go to expenses with any leftover returned to the participants. Any leftover from Woodie TAL's apparently disappears into that deep black hole called Woodie's pocket.

The difference for the NJ TAL is that NO ONE'S (NO ONE, THAT MEANS NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON ATTENDING), expenses are being paid. Everyone, all presenters and attendees, will pay their fare share, period. There are no air fare subsidies, hotel room expenses or food charges being paid. If there is any money left over , after we pay all the bills, we will divide it up, prorata for all attendees and show a ZERO balance. This is strictly an event for people who want to get together for a couple days.

What everyone seems to forget about the W is that he is a veteran of chat rooms. W has had free and pay rooms before, so why be so surprised ? The old fox has had a few kicks at the can to get down and prototype his "formula".

Go anywhere for any reason to push your room, engage brokers, the CBOT, eSignal, SFO magazine (owned by PFG brokerage), anyone to help push your room - because it is numbers that count. Newbies, losers, wanna-be's, all looking for the secret, and woodie out to catch every one of them.
Numbers, like TV show ratings, attracts sponsors, and sponsors provide benefits.

Dennis - could you at least tell us once and for all if this is a blog meant to teach us your way of trading or is it simply your chosen method of further disgracing woodie? I'd like to learn from you but I'm no longer in a position to sift through dozens of posts about woodie looking for something positive. If you feel the need to keep pounding woodie, I really liked the suggestion earlier of two blogs.

Well, that is an interesting idea, Anonymous 4:53. However, in the big picture of things, I was going to leave this subject alone, but then one day, the Duke of Wood posted his entire trading charts by accident. I got 3 emails about it along with a snap of it and guess what, there was a chart in the upper left hand corner that caught their eyes and then mine.
This week we will explode that chart.
Also, and not telling you how we know, but it seems that there are someone or someones out there who just won't leave us alone and continue to snoop around trying to get our auto trading system. They already have a piece of it...but.
So, if it was you... would you pretend that all is just fine and let them kick you, slander you, call you fucking piece of shit or would you take them to task?
Of course, there will be an end to this but in the mean time, when I post about trading ideas, well they say I am full of bullshit, can't trade and no one has exchanged any ideas....
When I post about the new home we are building....then I am a piece of shit bragging and boosting.
