It was one of "THOSE" days..........
It started off like any other Saturday in October, the Vol Walk, the Pride of the South Land Band marching into Neyland Stadium and 107,000 screamming fans followed to the music of Rocky Top.
The band marched out on the field and did the power "T", then went on to spell out USA while they played the Stars and Strips Forever.
Finally as 107,000 screaming fans sang Rocky Top the Power "T" opened and the team run out on the field behind the "T" flag, ole smoky and a whole bunch of cheerleaders....It appeared to be a normal day.....
John Ward made the famous announcement....IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNEESSEEeeeeeeeee as the crowd was on it's feet.
Payton Manning was even there to have his number retired....number 16, along with his parents and brothers. It was a great celebration of better times.
It didn't matter at the time that Tennessee again fumbled the ball late in the half and at the goal line and could not put USC away. The band, at half time, was upbeat and we ate.....and we ate well.
It was a field goal kicker type of day for sure, as the score went back and forth all evening, but with 2:14 left in the game USC kicked another field goal to take the lead 16 to 15. The coaches in the other sky box were nuts as the ball just cleared the goal post.
The text messaging out of the stadium went into full gear as the kids were on the phones ASAP to their friends.
Yes the seats are in a sky box, you know you can see the game many ways. Skybox, on the 50, on the 20, from the end zone, in the parking lot, at Hooters and of course at home. Now some might say it's excessive to have a sky box to watch a football game but I have to tell ya this......It's nice. The only thing that was excessive to me was the lady at the buffet piling my plate with chicken wings at half time.
Oh yea, they serve prime rib, mashed potatoes, green beans and carrot cake before the game and best coffee out there. Now that is a whole lot better then eating a preztel that is warmed by a light bulb or a hot dog in one of those foil bags and charging $3.50....now that is excessive......ROTFL

You sure know how to live man. Your my hero for sure.
Your lifestyle sure takes a whole lotta ER2 handles!
Now be honest, you already had a small fortune BEFORE you started trading. It's pretty obvious. I'll have to look into opening a few of those christmas stores, did'nt realize they were this profitable.
The Vols have fallen on hard times. Gotta clarify that USC was the Gamecocks of South Carolina, not the mighty National Champion, undefeated juggernaut Trojans of Southern Cal.
Well, you have some facts wrong here......
There wasn't a lottery in Tennessee in the 2001.
The Save-a-Lot store had not bought out Battles yet.
We don't have any Norton's here in Tennessee.
The local paper is called the Mountain Press.
I never buy my wife roses.....she likes potato chips.
But you did get the numbers right.....rotfl...
jab, you are a funny funny guy...and now the gullibles out there are going to be all in a tizzy, wondering, wondering, lol lol...I'm in fibonacci stitches. Pass the chips n dips, please, lol
Dennis, I love stopping by here on my round of reading. I'm sure enjoying watching your house get put together. And thanks for the "frist trade" explanation and examples.
here's the crook http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/jan/07/trader-vanishes-after-questions/
Well the News is out that your life has fallen apart. The FBI and IRS as well as the local authorities in TN are looking for yuo. This is suprising to alot of people. But not so much to others who noticed your shared personal history was bending and changing- not jiving with what you had previously said. You were never a runner at the CME, never in Vietnam or in the Military at all, and a College dropout. But to leave your family in shame, that I is the most perplexing.
To all the Woodie supporters who are laughing now; watch out- Dennis may have fallen but this doesn't change the facts- Woodie took seminar donations for the Make-A_Wish kids and kept it for himself. Nothing changes that.
