Well last night ended the college basketball season, and some interesting fact always come out......Tenneessee beat Florida twice, at home and at their house. Tennessee lady also beat Maryland in the beginning of the season......But Tennessee this year were at home watching the finals....along with the rest of us. It was the year of the Terps and Blue Devils......all the dogs were sleeping on the front porch last night as the babes squared off.....
The Treps were down as much as 13 early in the game as it looked like another boring blowout by one team over the other......sport fans have seen that once to often, but slowly....not as slow as the roofers but slowly they came back.....until with 15 seconds to play they hit a 3 pointer with Bales defending to tie the game and send it into overtime.....
A late foul gave the Terps the ball with 5 seconds left and up by one point.....and the fat lady started to sing the University of Maryland fight song.
But what a game, it is to bad I guess that they has to be losers.......in fact everyone lost except the Terps....they all went back home one at a time.....a loser.
But in reality, I believe they were all winners to some degree....their pride, their fans and their belief in themselves makes them winners...if nothing else in the hearts of their family also.....to give your best is all we can do......
Great job to Maryland and Florida.....as I pack my creamsicle shakers away for another time....
