If you are new to trading, before you go out and buy into to someone that claims to have the holy grail take a day and read thru this blog. If it sounds to good to be true, well it just might be. Why put your money on the line following someone when all you really need is to find your own way....there is a lot of crap out...

My biggest problem is the #6 trade, I'm feeling good from all the previous trades of the day and then the #6 trade comes along and I get caught the wrong way quick as a wink. Except for #6, I'd be a rich man!
mdan
Mdan, the number 6 trade did not trigger because the high of the setup bar was taken out before the low. Also if you are watching the tick as a filter as Dennis does we had a TAZ for a long right before the potential ZLR, and we bounced up over the +400 back to zero and then back above the 400 when this would have triggered short which should have screamed caution.....wait for the next setup.
If my assessment is wrong then someone please correct me. Thanks.
It is not clear why if #1 is a valid short, #2 should be a valid short also. #1 had 3 inside bars and #2 has 2 inside bars. #6 would have been stopped for a minor loss on the highs of the bar. #6 made a 6.30 rally, which was about a 50 % retrace of the entire decline of 12.30 upto that point.
These are great signals, all this is well and fine, if you knew when to exit. Otherwise this is all Monday Morning Quarterbacking.
The entries posted are great but I agee with anon as to the exit, why not just short the open and let it roll till the end of the day, that would have worked on 13, 14 and 15.
A shrewd observation in teddys was that there will be 50 % rally inspite of the spread, and it checks out! Hence when to exit is the key.
ROTFL....hey if I did good with the first 5 and found that trade #6 was a problem everyday.....I would really be good at golf by now....FORE.
When to exit has always been a problem for everyone. You have setup...then trigger to enter and then do you take a profit now...or wait .....and how long...to where...HELP HELP....
In the chat room I do my best to answer those questions with rules as the trade unfolds with live charts. Take half off.....and manage the trade and let the market take you out...
Well except for maybe a couple of internals ....doing there thing at a target but that is another story...
STAY TUNED
Also, trade #6 is what we call a LOSER here in Tennesee...plain and simple. Now the spread was red, so we want to find short using the ZLR. We have our trigger rules....and it did take out the low of the setup bar and we would short that puppy without any consideration of the internals..
I know this was a loser, loser, loser, loser....and DANG IT....pass me some FUDGE.
Should have taken the HFE or was it an inverted ghost..no way a shamu...well one of those worked.
DANG IT....pass me some more FUDGE.
That is just trading in the real world....plain and simple
